Cyprian Wiley and Iris, a Love Affair
So, late in Round 1 of a Casual Match, with both sides fielding a lot of units, NR opponent drops an Iris on my side. Because he has Trebuchets in play, I immediately respond by activating Ge'els' leader ability, to bump her strength to 3.
Opponent immediately plays Cyprian Wiley, and much to his surprise, Iris' strength only drops to 2. I'm literally watching him go back and highlight Whoreson, just to make sure he read it right. I'm laughing hysterically.
Next turn, as though he wasn't sure he had seen it right, he hits Iris with Radovid's leader ability. Now she's locked, and STILL has a strength of 2.
At that point, the player gave up and just forfeited. But he was Rank 15, and level 72. You'd think he'd know how Base Strength works by now.
