as i said,there should be a dev clearing things up if it is or it isn't a bug.

We need to separate two things:
1) Demoting a gold unit doesn't result in losing the promoting buff.
2) Demoting a Redanian Elite when there are at least three on the board results in an immediate (re)promotion.

The first is intended. The second is being looked at by the devs. This means it's not an official bug just yet. But it might very well be changed in an upcoming patch. Which leads me back to my original post:

6.Radenian Elite promotes itself after its gold status is taken away (by Kaedweni Sergeant and Dimeritium Shackles) - we are investigating it.

"we are investigating it" The devs/mods couldn't be more vague even if they tried.

As long as it's not confirmed to be a bug, you cannot claim it's an exploit/abuse.
