High GPU temps on The Witcher 2

I just started The Witcher 2 after playing The Witcher 3 and I put all the settings to ultra and my cpu temps are normal around 45 but my GPU temps go all the way up to 70 for some reason. Anyway to fix this? My GPU is a MSi GTX 970 Twin Frozr V and my CPU is an intel core i7 6700k

Did you enable ubersampling? If yes, that is very expensive, it is basically 4xSSAA. Otherwise, you may have VSYNC disabled and the game runs at a frame rate limited only by the GPU. Or it may even be normal at ultra settings, it is a relatively demanding game despite its age.

Just checked, V-Sync was on but I did have ubersamping enabled, i've disabled it now i'll test it out and see.
