Why Syanna always keep her left hand behind her back?

Is it some kind of royal gesture? If it is, why Anna Henrietta doesn't do that? CDPR make this posture unique to her, what does it mean?

Interesting question. I assumed it was intended as a little mannerism, which helps portray her character's personality: Somewhat closed, and devious.

I'd say too that it's mannerism. More likely something related to some royal/high-rank military origin.

At first I figured she was about to stab someone because it looked like she was hiding a knife away or something. Later I figured it was her way of presenting herself. It reminds me of a solider gesture but it also gives the feelings of "Don't trust me".
