I can't use any sign

I finish the game so I bought the DLC but I can't cast any sign. Even using the pre generated character. I tried the dimeritium bomb trick but nothing. The controller works perfectly with other games. I really don't know what to do.

Witcher 3 seems to be picky with controllers sometimes. Do you have a second controller which you could try? Just to double check this.

Do you have any controller gadgets attached, that could somehow cause trouble?
