Question about The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings mods

So ever since REDkit has been in open beta I have been following it every day and every day I look at http://witcher.nexusmods.com/mods/newtoday//? and I have not seen 1 single mod uploaded since the day the REDkit went into open beta.

I do not have an account on the REDkit website nor do I plan on making on yet I just want to download mods.

So will mods ever appear on here http://witcher.nexusmods.com/mods/newtoday//??

I have been absent from this forum for a while because every time I start a topic or express my opinion I get called a fool, moron, etc and laughed at by this community which depressed me a while ago and made me cry. Yes I really did cry I feel ashamed that I joined.

Lol, it was released, what, 4-5 weeks ago? Modding can take months or years, friend.

Also, you should check the Redkit forums for recent mods- I see some new ones.

Edit: Redkit was "leaked" on May 14th, and officially entered beta on May 21st...that was two and one week ago respectively. So, yeah. Patience is a virtue ^^

Edit2: I didn't read the last paragraph or your post. Sorry about your experience, bad things happen sometimes. But there's always room to move on from them :) Luck, bro.

Yeah I know mods take months and years. But some mods take 1 day or 1 week like mods that add new armor or weapons or NPC's those are the types of mods I am looking for. Also I don't feel like making an account on the REDkit website to download mods. I already have an account made on the Nexus website and I have to many accounts made for so many places.

My impression is that Redkit-made mods are being consolidated on the Redkit site for convenience of users and modders alike, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. However, since I am neither a Redkit forum regular nor modder, don't take my words as point blank truth.

And dude, it's so easy to make an account- you can use the same information you're using for this forum.

Hey, don't be upset.
Hope to see more mods soon too, but modding community isn't that big as Skyrims one for example, I can even count people who do modding.
Registering on REDkit site is super fast, just fill 4 fields and tick accept the terms box. Anther reason to register is that you can ask some one to make stuff, which you'd like to see.

Armour/weapon mod take weeks or even month to make. For the first you need to make model it self, witch take most of the time. Then you need to export it into the Redkit and to the game, sadly there are only one exporter that supports 3ds max only(even only 2 versions of it) and nothing for other modelling programs. That is an issue for many modellers, that also why not many new stuff been released. The third thing is that people still need to learn how to use RedKit.

If you want to see/hear some news, you can go here
And bother people what do they do. ;)/>

Remember too that REDkit is still in beta so some things can change from time to time . I`m sure that people are still finding their way in and out of REDkit so patience will be key in this aspect .

True. But there are better options coming. DarkOne has confirmed that The Nexus will provide NMM support of TW2 mods, for example.
