No. They didn't. I assume he was in good faith referring about the absence of exclusive game content, instead of the physical content of the box. Which has never been the same for all platforms or retailers, not for TW1, not for TW2, not for TW3.

No reason to start feeling betrayed now, really. The sooner people realize this, the better. I still think that the announcement was as sloppy as it could get and it would have been better to know of this before the pre-orders opened (or closed, for that matter; good luck finding a Collector's Edition if it's sold out in your region), but the sheer amount of dirt thrown at CDPR in the last hours has been nothing short of ridiculous.

In any case, one thread on the subject is more than enough, no reason to open another. Expect this one to be closed or merged soon.
