Also, how does someone "follow" you? I'm not a streamer and when i watch streams i never use the chat.

Not sure about the other part of your post, but I'm following few streamers and I get notifications when they go online and start to stream, if I have set the notifications on for them. Their online status is also visible to me when I open up a Twitch page.

EDIT: Did a really quick Google search and apparently it's not possible to stop people from following you. But didn't check any further if this is still true or not. That thread I checked was over a year old.

I Googled searched about it, and i only found topics about streamers who have a problem with/want to get rid of a follower.

Yes, i'm aware of the notifications and the like. Since the Twitch drops started, i have checked out and followed quite a few Gwent streamers, mostly small streamers ( even if i don't watch them, i kind of assumed that the more followers they get, it's beneficial for them ). What does that have to do with someone following me? I can only think of 2 things:
1. Some freak randomly searches different user names and when they find one that exists, they follow them. ( seems far fetched. I've had the Twitch account for a few years, i just didn't use it )
2. I noticed that when you follow a streamer, most of the times your name appears on the screen. So, some freak saw my name and decided to "follow".

To explain why i have such a big issue:
A couple of weeks ago i got an email "user XXX ( placeholder name very much intended ) is now following you on Twitch". I checked the list of the streamers i follow and it's not one of them ( well, at least it's a totally different user name ).
Now, my user name on Twitch, while not my real name, is an obviously female name. The "follower" has an avatar of a naked woman and i could only describe it as pornographic. Coincidence?

Sorry for the rant, but i'm pretty pissed, disgusted and, if i'm being honest, a little disturbed. I don't know, maybe i'm being paranoid, but i'm even worrying if my email address/ip got compromised.

Anyone know what to do? Should i just delete my account and make a new one? ( of course the new user name would be on the lines of "the incredible Hulk" or something ) If i do that, is it safe to use the same email address?

Maybe you could contact to Twitch support and ask what they think about this? They can probably also handle the account deletion if you end up in that solution.

Do you think they' ll actually care? I'll give it a try i guess. Thank you.

OK for a topic of off topicness: CAN YOU LAUGH AT YOUR SELF AND SHARE IT WITH COMPLETE STRANGERS?
I'll start, So the story of the very THECHNICALLY CHALLENGED so I have spent the last 2 months just trying to figure out how to login to this forum, come to find out that it was some settings in this stress box I call a laptop then took me 3 days to get past the 10 post threshold and now (first forum ever) trying to figure out what RED points and Orens are and how to pass them along. I have played the witcher 2&3 games and play Gwent almost daily for months now and don't do to shabby but trying to just get around a forum I feel like the moron who drank to much beer and then was told to go into the round room and could only pee in the corner.

Welcome to the forums =) Always nice to see new faces.

REDpoints are like thumbs in Facebook. You can give them to posts that you like for whatever reason. Option to give REDpoints is in the bottom right corner of the post. Just click the REDpoint text and you can give one (if you click the box next to it, you can see who gave you the points it has). If you don't see that option on mobile, try turning your device sideways. Orens are currently bugged, so you can just ignore those for now, but basically it should be like "Super REDpoint".

Unfortunately I don't have time to think of funny technical challenges right now. But I may return to that topic some time later :D

Thanks to all that have helped.
The whole laugh at yourself was not intended for just the technically challenged, but can you do it about anything (off topic of course).

Hello,

I just wanted to tell you, that you do a great job! I just recently got into this game and it is amazing! I made some research and I was blown away how much money you are investing into Esport, while the game is still in beta. Esport is in my opinion crucial to support, because it will bring the most people into the game and learning that you are supporting it so much is really awesome!:) Also I like how you support streamers, that is in my opinion another fundemental thing nowdays to do, because it will bring a lot people (for example I got into this game thanks to Kripparian stream). Really great job!

I definitely will support this game and recommend it to everyone I know. Just wanted to tell you this, because people like to critize, but they dont like to praise too much. In my opinion you do a great job, so keep it up!:)

That feel when

you play against somebody who is as least as good as you, both decks and hands are pretty evenly matched, game is a succession of perfect moves and counter-moves. First two rounds were won by the right play with very little extra power spent.

Last round arrives. Card in, card out, all maneuvers are carefully planned, both your opponent and you displaying peak performance, not even blinking once. One after another, you both make the best plays allowed by the hands you got.
In the end, the smallest crack shows in your opponent's house of cards. He auto passes, your Arch Spore does a plant jump (¿¿??), and spits on Ciri's sculpted buttocks.

You won by one.

So right before the game ends, hastily, you click on your avatar, this edgy elf with a headscarf, and reward your opponent with the words:

"Not bravery but brains, that's how you win!"

Best day of my life
