Gwent was fun then You had low influence on enemy board. Now it is like a battlefield.
Well, that's kind of the point actually.
I'm not agree with the game being unbalanced to the points some of you are describing but I have to admit the overall balance seems a little worse than it was in the previous patch.
Some archetypes has been pushed quiet a lot (Scoiat'ael for example) and some other (Queensguard to mention just this one) has been butchered because there is so many counter to them now.
About the weather, even though it's not OP I do feel like the system is still questionable.
The problem with weather since the end of the closed BETA is that now it produces value over time AND kill your units, which I'm not a big fan of because essentially it ranges from terrible to insane depending on the situation and your opponent's hand and most of the time facing weather feel much more like fighting a deck/card rather than fighting a player because there is very little decision making when you face weather (especially because it's dealing damage over time, you can't just wait for the best time to clear skies it's either you're okay to sacrifice whatever is under its effect or you CS within a very few turns, which can be very easily read by your opponent if he/she's holding another weather in hand).
It's even more true since Golds can be targeted now, with a single bronze card you can potentially remove multiple unit including Golds.
I feel like the first idea for weather was better, it was completely unbalanced but it was a lot more interesting and skill testing imo.
What they should have done is to make weather reduce the strength of units standing into it by a certain amount, just not all the way to 1 (like -3 power to a minimum of 1 for example...or reduce it to half its value but it would probably be too strong in that case).
