Possible Toruviel / Aelirenn Bug (Maybe?)

I had 4 elves on the board, and an un-triggered Toruviel, and I passed. Opponent plays Donar An Hindar and locks Toruviel, turning her over and giving me 5 elves on the board, but Aelirenn didn't get pulled from my deck. I understand locking and disabling the ambush mechanic, I'm just curious if there is an activation mechanic that is required for Aelirenn to be triggered (which locking disrupts) because turning Toruviel over still technically gave me 5 elf allies on the board. Is this by design? Ambushing is already fairly limited... Only asking because I feel like this could be an ambiguous answer and would like to be more prepared next time. Thanks!

AFAIK it's a bug with Toruviel. When she gets locked, she also loses her Elf tag, unlike any other Elf.

Toruviel Lock and appear 5 elf aelirenn bug ?

Hi , i think this is a bug.. so why ?
+ As you can see on attached picture , opponent locked my toruviel and show her face and appear 5 elf on my side..
but did'nt come aeliren.. why ?

if you say her locked.. but radovid , locked my two units , when I played one more elf, there were 5 elves and it came. !!
