Missing Grandmaster Gear

Can anyone help? I have just completed the Manticore grandmaster gear collection. However, when I craft the gear, it does not register. In fact it just simply disappears along with any money spent. The quest Master, Master, Master, Master is registered as completed and the rewards are added, but when I buy the components needed or try to craft the items, the components are dumped in my inventory with no sign of the armour. The same thing has happened with the Feline grandmaster gear.
Can any explain why I am getting this?

I guess that you could try to clear the system cache and then reload some earlier save and try again.

I have already tried that and in fact this is my second play through. However, on the second play it did actually acknowledge, that I had completed the quest. I simply do not have the will to try a third time. Thank you for there suggestion.
