Show FPS

Is there a way I can show FPS in this game? Like how CSGO has an in-game FPS counter? I'm running the game on my laptop with integrated graphics and I'm trying to adjust the settings to give me a proper 60FPS.

There is no built-in FPS counter however you can use steam overlay which comes with a simple FPS counter (if you bought the game on steam) or third party applications like Fraps or MSI Afterburner.

I know of the third party apps and I know that Steam has a built-in FPS overlay, but I'd rather not use Steam and I don't want to use third party software as it decreases performance.

You did answer my question, however - there is no FPS counter available in the game.
