before the mod igni dealt couple of times higher damage then fully maxed strong style sword attacks (hitting stryga with 2500 igni damage). the idea now is to make igni a ranged damage dealer but its power is easily comparable to sword damage. igni will always be usefull no matter what damage it will do because its safe way to attack enemy without the risk of being hit. of course, now to feel the power of signs you have to develop them along with inteligence. note that places of power and focus stones also arent just randomly placed. you should use them if you rely on signs in particular battle, ie. fight with ozzrel is mostly burn damage from ignite or pushing with aard and hitting with sword, then run.90% of the time you can lure enemies and fight 1 at a time. its crucial in this mod if you want to fight stronger enemies on lower witcher levels. approach dangerous areas slowly and take a note where are enemy spawning points. be sure to spawn them or attract them one at a time. while fighting any enemy (not immune to critical effects) its crucial to inflict pain and bleeding. both these effects decrease enemy chance to hit by 100% (while their initial chance is often above 100% so ie. 260%- 100% from criticals - 114% from doge and parry = 46% chance to hit for garkain). as you can see this most often doubles your chance to survive. weaker enemies sometimes wont hit you at all if you have high dexterity and apply critical effects.while using aard remember that wounded enemies (

im not compressing the mod to make it smaller, im doing it because the mod is made of 1800 files. you want to download them seperately? there's no way to upload folders on any site so either compressed mod or no mod at all.to extract the file from archive you need one of the most popular programs - winrar or something similar. everyone needs it eventually and everybody should always have it installed.

hello.a) just overwriting the files will work perfectly.b) when you enter the house draw your sword and jump forward. with swallow, tawny owl potion and grindstone or crinfrid oil on sword you should kill them eventually. be mobile, jump a lot, use group style, aard and igni.when playing with mod tactic is finally important. even when fighting strong enemies, use fast style to inflict effect pain, then strong to inflict bleeding. with both critical effects enemy change to hit is decreased by 100% (but initial chance could be way above 100%, so 150- 100 still means 50% chance to hit...). the general rule in the mod is to move a lot. staying in place means being vulrnable to hit. when enemy surrounds you, you should reposition so the least ammount of enemies can reach you at a time. for example, it might be a good idea to run up the stairs if there are some or run to the corner attack once or twice, use sign then jump again.its good to know that enemies with health halved are 4 times more susceptible to aard. if you havent finished the game without the mod, some general hints:- books about monsters and recipies are very important to buy. it allows to know enemy weaknesses and make proper oil and potions.- alchemy is absolutely necessary to survive. always have 10 swallow and tawny owl potions ready to use.- use fast and strong style when you can to inflict critical effects- when you cant win, do some other things, level up and come back with more experience.- there are oils and potions for every situation. be sure to know what they do and when to use them:http://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Category:potionshttp://witcher.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Oilscheck some movies showing how to defeat hard enemies to general idea about movement, styles etc.http://www.youtube.com/user/andy0985all movies made on highest difficulty mod

to install whole mod you need to explore "flash mod xxx.rar" archive (xxx- numbers), enter "all_in_one" folder and paste all files and folders from "all_in_one" into "the witcher/data/" folder.placing "flash mod xxx.rar" anywhere in the witcher folders wont change anything.

Thanks FlashInTheFlesh – we are working hard on Witcher world and I think that even after release of the game The WItcher universe is still flourishing.I think that you should definitely check out one of The Community adventures – lots of stuff is happening there! And of course more is to come … Much more

I think witcher is just beggining to flourish since the release of djinni. witcher is following the same path as neverwinter nights- endless possibilities and community support. this is the most important reason of neverwinter success. this game would be another "play and forget" (maybe play twice) without new haks and mods, and multiplayer of course (but im not rpg multiplayer kind of guy).im a type of player which repeats same games few times until their fun factor drops to zero.each mod and adventure increase the fun by some degree -> existing mods and satisfied players opinions gives ideas and motivation for new mods -> new mod equals to more funwith active and creative community the game can become perpetum mobile. but to help this scenario, its important to make modding easier. now, large percent of luc files cannot be converted to lua without errors. nss files are completely unavailable unless each modder asks you- developers for specific files. its crippling policy, modding is still limited due to limited access to files.maybe its not the best place to ask but since i already started, ill finish with little request:bioware released all files needed to mod the game (lua, nss). can you, CDPR do the same? it would greatly help modders to continue their work and make the witcher even more attractive.but enough of my reflections.im just another polish witcher fan, both of the game and books.

3. ME had the most repetetive gameplay I have ever seen since Spore (a mark of EA games I guess). Apart from the main quest the whole game consisted of cllicking on planets until you found the right one and then find one anomaly, one debris and a damn bunker where you killed everything. That was it. And it disappointed me since the Citadel part was so great. I loved walking around and talking to people and though it would be like this later in the game as well. Instead I got a massive shootfest where I hid behind boxes and shot at everything that moved while my companions died. The development was alright with many interesting choices, but the enemies were all the same. The husks and creepers were actually the most difficult since they just charged. The others hid behind crates until you shot their foot to death.4. Repetetive and bland graphics. Animations and NPCs were great and more detailed than in TW. Still everything else looked the same.Nothing was alive. Every single planet in the universe seems to consist of stupid rocks and bunkers with a Salarian corpse or a ancient relic here and there. Every now and then the color was changed to red or brown or green, but that was it. Every ship looked the same, every hallway looked the same, no matter what species resided in a place the all bought doors from the same manufacturer. This is the point where TW comes in with its copy paste NPCs, yet I just wanted to point out that ME graphics aren't as great as some say, and they certainly don't beat TWs overall.

uhmm :hmmm:, thats so true. nothing more to add. still ME is best sci-fi RPG i know.

i'm sure. tomb raider patch doesnt edit the adventure file, it edits character models or textures or both (never used it myself..).to edit dog placement, where we can find it, how does it behave, you need to edit original adventure.

thats a good idea for new mod but it cant be done with original adventure. well, actually it can be done but im quite sure its not allowed. original adventure stays original.same like in neverwinter nights. many years have passed since neverwinter release and people still mod the game but never original campaign.

Using of this oils make sense if Geralt use long sword's combo, but now it's mostly impossible. Am I right?
what do you mean?brown oil is indeed very good. maybe not against strong enemiy types but against fast enemies like bruxa it allows to decrease their accuracy by another 50% which is impossible by other means because only strong style has decent chance to inflict bleeding.

Any tips against royal wyverns in ACT3 swamp? Even fighting one at a time, they hit me for 90+ damage, and i have 500 hp :\10 seconds and i'm dead...

-using swallow, tawny, argentum, and anti-venom potion)-use active quen (wivern lose up to 50% health), fast style to inflict:-- pain, strong style, igni... until the pain end--or bleeding, run around a tree, igni... until the bleeding endfight 1 at a time
+ yrdennote that fighting royal wyverns is completely optional during act 3. you dont have to fight them at all. you want moa, lure it out. still its absolutely possible to kill them, just dont stand in place when they hit you. inflict both critical effects and be mobile. if needed retreat to regenerate.with dexterity 4, parry and dodge bonuses, royal wyvern with pain and bleeding has 50% chance to hit you. that's a lot but you are dont have to fight them. with dexterity 5 which you should have in act 4 their accuracy with pain and bleeding is 36%.

for the computer, it doesnt matter if you place mouse cursor over cs_sex_elf2 or other file. just place the content of flash mod "all_in_one" folder inside "the witcher/data/" folder. thats it, mod will work.
