In the coming months, the first people will get to experience The Witcher in Concert! We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on, so here’s a glimpse!

Fresh, dedicated orchestration

Our goal is to create a truly unique event for our audiences, one that allows them to experience music from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, one they’ve come to know and adore, through a lovingly crafted, immersive music experience. It’s not as simple as rounding up musicians and going on a stage — everything has to sound perfect.

To achieve this, Marcin Przybyłowicz, our Expert Music Composer, is working with, among others, Nikola Kołodziejczyk, composer, arranger, conductor, and pianist, two-time winner of Fryderyk Award for his large ensemble works, and Paulina Porszke, member of the Paulina Porszke Ensemble as well as pianist, composer, arranger, and vocalist well-regarded in the music world. All to adapt the soundtrack and arrange it specifically with the instruments that will appear on stage in mind.

On the stage you will see and hear the band Percival, co-composers of the game’s original soundtrack, alongside supporting musicians who will work together with them to elevate the experience through the sounds of cellos, trombones, violins, French horns, clarinets, and others.

Tracks from the soundtrack have been arranged in an order that will retell the story of Geralt’s quest to find Ciri, and with an entourage of 14 minstrels, he will surely succeed!

Breathtaking visuals

Making sure the music hits all the right points is our utmost priority, but our team at CD PROJEKT RED is also working on creating the ideal visual layer to make the experience as entrancing and immersive as possible. Every single frame of the video scene has been prepared to perfectly fit the music and the story it tells.

What’s next?

With multiple concerts selling out, we can see that you want MORE — and we’re working on it, promise! First and foremost, we’ve been working hard to bring more The Witcher in Concert dates to Poland and were thrilled to see your response, with our Poznań stop selling out in a matter of hours, if not minutes!

So, we’re overjoyed to announce that we’re adding the following dates to The Witcher in Concert’s European leg:
  • Warsaw - October 31st
  • Katowice - November 1st
  • Łódź - November 2nd
Regular ticket sales will start on Friday, April 25th at 12:00 PM CEST. Just like before, if you’ve subscribed to our newsletter at https://www.thewitcher.com/concert, you will receive a pre-sale code to get a head start as early as tomorrow, that is Wednesday, April 23rd at 12:00 PM CEST!

Don’t forget that there are still tickets available for some of the concerts we already announced. Definitely make sure to check out the concert planned for August 20th at gamescom — as it’s the official start of The Witcher in Concert tour, much like the special invite-only event at Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera, we’re pulling out all the stops for this one to make it worthy of being the series’ opener!

Is this all we have for you? Of course not! As said before, we’re working on adding even more stops for The Witcher in Concert world tour — stay tuned for more info coming soon!

I would appreciate some clarification regarding the May show in Boston, MA (US). I understand the official North America tour is not set yet. But this one show in Boston seems different.. is it invite only? Will I be able to buy tickets to that show? If so, would love info on how and when.. thank you!

"Wind's howling.. Medallion's humming.. Place of Power, it's gotta be!"
Hi!

For both shows in Boston you can get tickets:

To enable cross progression on PS5 you have to log in via the My Rewards section in the main menu. The login process is the same and enables both My Rewards and Cross Progression.

The Cross Porgression button is missing from the Load Game menu until you sign in.

I signed up for the newsletter yesterday evening (23:00 local time) when I read the news post but I did not receive a presale code yet. Did I sign up too late?
Yes. Sadly, we sent the codes around 6 PM CET and there won't be any additional waves for that.
I received the presale code but I am unable to buy any tickets. The newsletter says to select one of the venues but none of it is clickable.
Pre-sale starts today, make sure to check the website later today :)

If you're worried about us breaking the lore, or ignoring canon, or making some contrived decisions just because we want to, then I can tell you that we have worked on this for years, every member of our narrative leadership teams - from story to quests - has been working on the previous Witcher games as well, and we take our work and passion very seriously. What I can't revfeal are the specifics of what we do in this story and why we do it, because that would be spoiling stories that are central to the Witcher 4.

So basically, we wouldn't take such story decisions lightly, not just because that would be us doing a bad job by definition, but also because we ourselves care about the Witcher a lot. All of us started as fans of Andrzej Sapkowski's work. And when we make calls for our stories, this care and love for the Witcher is always at the forefront.

Hey everyone,

making the the game in a way that is a continuation of stories and characters of the previous games, but at the same time understandable and enjoyable for a new audience is nothing new. It's exactly the way we made The Witcher 3 as well, and essentially that's the same thing we're doing for the Witcher 4 now. So if that worked for you in The Witcher 3, then I think you shouldn't have to worry!

We are currently working on resolving the sound cooking issues that some of you have reported where sometimes the modified sounds are not getting cooked and included into the packed mod after running "Save and Publish".

Until then, please be advised to use the Publish > Cook Mod Sounds option to cook the sounds of your mod standalone as an additional step right after using Publish > Save and Publish mod project. Once that's done, head over to your mod's root folder and in the packed directory locate the newly generated soundspc.cache file and copy it manually to <The Witcher 3 Installation Folder>/mods/<your_mod>/content.
