New Seasonal Mode Suggestions

Armageddon (the bigger they are, the harder they fall)
Every turn, on turn end, Scorch the highest unit(s).
Damage and buff effects are no longer restricted to one side.
Only unit cards can be played from hand.

No Limit Double
The deck doesn't have a provision cap, but the minimum deck size is doubled to 50.
 
so you want to play multiple low units per turn, and deathwish units?

Deathwish could indeed be an interesting tactic. Like with most seasonal modes, some decks are more favored. Considering Deathwish is otherwise weak, it's acceptable.

Putting in the most expensive cards isn't going to yield the strongest deck. Furthermore, the above issue has been a problem with other seasonal modes too, which require specific cards or decks.
 
Since Burza asked about community's thoughts on seasonal, that's what I came up with (3 modes so far):

1) Players play 2 turns alternately instead of 1,
2) Each deck must have at least 30 cards,
3) Killing a unit makes it go on the opposite side with half it's base strenght (without adding doomed tag might be better, so that there is a reason to play units in the first place).

Not sure how fun they would turn out to be, but it should require some specific fresh deck building.

No faction restriction could be funny. Could end up in crazy combos that you usually see only in Arena, but arena is random

No limit to the number of copies in a deck
 
Swamp: All units played or invoked gains poison.
Revenge: When you destroy an enemy unit, your unit with the lowest power is automatically destroyed
Number of cards more limited: Maximum cards for round is 5 (the initial artifact for the first player bonifies +3, not +5).
Night in the museum.2: When you play artifacts, they are duplicates
Inmunity for everybody: All units gains inmunity

Well, that could actually work, except for SY. And NG is at a disadvantage.

Maybe, but all the seasonal modes have favored factions.:shrug:


In any case, I think that any new mode should be able to be played with any deck. Modes that require a deck built with additional rules may be more difficult to implement.
 
How about something simpler:
1/ Bronze cards only
2/ Units only
3/ Multi-faction
4/ 180 provision + no leader ability
