What to do with pre-downloaded files?

Differences between current and earlier versions of EE patch files
1. PLEASE NOTE! If checksums generated for EE patch files downloaded before today are different than the ones below it most likely DOES NOT mean they are corrupted. If the patch installation worked that's the best proof your files are fine. [u[We simply replaced several of the files for various reasons.[/U]
2. The latest manual EE patch files are the same as the latest downloader EE patch files.
3. The latest files will sometimes be different from their counterparts downloaded before today. This is because some of them were sliced differently.

If the files are now "sliced differrently" will they still work with files downloaded from the "Pre_Downloader.exe"?? For me, they don't, I got the dreaded "pack0.dzip corrupt" error for my trouble.

The TW2EE_Patch-3.bin to TW2EE_Patch-35.bin files I got has different md5sum checksum as posted, and they are not working with the current version of TW2EE_Patch.exe, TW2EE_Patch-1.bin and TW2EE_Patch-2.bin. So what to do? Redownload every files again? Is there a way to re-use those pre-loaded file??

This is very sad, I feel punished for pre loading my legal copy of the game.

At this point, the checksums of the known good files are here: http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29690-tw2ee-patch-md5-checksums/

Yours do not match them. If that is all the files you have (your list omits TW2EE_Patch.exe, TW2EE_Patch-1.bin, and TW2EE_Patch-2.bin), your set of files is no good, and you have to discard those and download a complete new set.

("Sliced differently" means you can no more put them together successfully than you could put together the pieces from two different jigsaw puzzles, or paste random clippings from two different newspapers together to make a coherent story. Actually, either of those would be far easier.)
