System requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 - UPDATE!

+
The longer i am looking at this chart, the more i am confused honestly. Maybe i am dumb but how 3070 does manage to pull off RT Ultra @ 1440p but is still on RT High category? Is this a typo or the "RT Ultra" on GFX Settings refers to RT enabled + Ultra settings? If this is the case then its RT set on High + Ultra settings? That would mean that RT quality is actually based on resolution? Lara Croft's decipher skills could have been very handy right now XD

I’ll be good to go once I get me one of those mythological RTX 30xx  And not that I care hugely about it but I’ll have to do some research regarding Dolby Atmos to see if my system is (partially) compatible with it.

RX 590, Ryzen 5 3600 on 1080p monitor. (would I need both RTX and a 4K monitor to see the difference?

or

PS4 Pro/PS5 on 4K TV?

Hi why 1440p and 2160p ? It's for 4k ? For the cpu i have a ryzen 5 1600 i think it's equivalent to the ryzen 3 no ?

Got myself a Founders Edition RTX 3080 for my 1440p 165hz monitor. Was thinking of shelling out for a Ryzen 9 3900X or a Ryzen 9 5900X before Cyberpunk but seeing these, my Intel i7 8700 is above the highest requirement so it'll last me a little longer at least!

Here's what I'm wondering, I have an intel i7-9700K, a SSD, 32 GB Ram, and an Radeon RX 6800, will I be able to get away with minimum RT at 2160p. I think I can pull off Ultra settings even without the 6800 XT. First time I've built a PC so I'm not sure how I'll do. I'm hoping to get at least high settings with 60 FPS when playing.
Raytracing in Cyberpunk will not be supported on AMD cards at launch, only Nvidia cards. So not, not to begin with.

Hi@all!

Just for comparison!
All CPU without OC and all GPU as reference design also without OC!
You can test your rig with 3DMark! Happy testing!

Any idea on what RT settings an RTX 2080 Super will have?

Can it run 1440p RT high? Or 1080p RT ultra?

Bit worried it seems to need a 3070 for ultra 1440 alone, since I have a ultra wide . Since 3070 tested better than a 2080 to, not sure what compromises I'll have to make with a 2080 super on my screen. Oh well, I'll find out next month.

From the reviews I've seen of the 6800 and 6800XT, forget about Ray Tracing, certainly for anything other that low RT settings.

As I feared, my new RTX 2060 card will only provide for the minimum levels of Ray Tracing. I can live with that, though, & its not like there were any series 30 cards available when I got my upgrade done.

On the upside, though, outside of Ray-tracing, it looks like my rig will be able to handle Ultra Settings with relative ease.

3080. Excellent... I am ready!

Who did you have to kill to get a series 30 card? ;)

I'd assume the chart aims at 60 fps with each collumn.

That is usually the aim point for PC Specs. What setting can you have whilst maintaining 60FPS.

Ok, thanks. That's what I've been hearing. I'll probably try it out anyhow and see how things run. I should still be able to play with high-ultra settings so I'll be happy with that. Maybe next Christmas 3080's will actually be in stock.

If you can't pull off maximum graphics with ray tracing... I'd be surprised. Your rig specs blow even the maximum ray tracing requirements out of the water with all the subtlety of throwing 6 tons of rubidium into said water.

(For the unaware, Rubidium explodes violently when exposed to water.)
Lol. I saved up to build this pc 'cause I knew I'd want a good system to play Cyberpunk on. I know I'm pretty set on everything for 4k and ultra settings, but the 6800 had some really poor reviews with ray tracing. Max RT dropped the fps to under 30 for most games. I'm definitely going to try for ray tracing once I can actually get into the game. Here's hoping they have a benchmark tool.

Hello !

I'm really interested to play/buy this game, but i'm not a gamer and i don't want to buy a new Laptop for it!

That's my old/actual Laptop Config: - https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-intel_core_i7_8750h-835-vs-intel_core_i7_4790-355
- http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-1060-Max-Q-vs-GeForce-GTX-1060

It's ok for me to play in 720p or 1080p at 30fps ( i don't have 4k screen )
I just hope i can have a Medium/High graphics quality texture with it

What do u think
:
Can my Laptop will be able do the job?
Or much better to me to don't buy this game?

Thank You for advice?

Same here, gonna spend some time playing with graphical settings right of the bat for sure. Think I'm gonna try for RT min 1440p first then uptweak from there. Aiming for a smooth 60fps.

Or if it's unplayable then gonna drop to 1080p and readjust RT settings. Hopefully high/ultra is achievable.

I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a rtx 2070 super.
I can try for a RT minimum, but I think I can go for a better experience with ultra 1440p.
It seems that if you don't have a great graphics card for it, RT is more of a downgrade experience.

I'd expect it would depend. I'm in a similar boat with a 3900x and 2070S. Given the spec list it would appear 1440P at ultra settings would be obtainable. This raises the question of what is the difference between something like ultra and high. Or a mix of ultra and high on different settings. The same applies to the 2160p recommendations where it lists a 2080S. A 2070S is not a 2080S. The question is whether a lower end GPU could do 2160p with the graphical sliders tweaked.

"RT High" probably would not be in the cards. The trouble is "RT High" lists 1440p with RT ultra. One would assume this means the base 1440p specs, or ultra graphical quality, with the highest RT setting. Again, a 2070S is not a 3070. So, same question. How much mileage can be gained from reducing the RT settings, some of the standard graphical settings or both?

I bring it up because, to me, the system reqs basically translate to, "If you're using settings close to these then you need hardware close to this.". Put differently, they're not very useful outside of a generic ballpark. This is not meant to bash CDPR either. In their defense they don't have a lot of options outside of presenting requirements in this form.

Not that any of this matters. I don't buy new PC hardware until it's been available for 6 months to a year. In part to bypass the "it's released but you can't buy it anywhere" phase. Also to let everyone else be guinea pigs. So when CP finally does release, assuming it does this time :), I'll see where my current hardware stands and plan accordingly.

It is a generic req. list, yeah. I will definitely turn down or off some settings like motion blur, chromatic aberration, depth of field etc.
Between high and ultra I think the only difference is what monitor you use, but I don't have in-depth pc specs knowledge.

I am curious without RT on what DLSS can do. If you can do ultra settings will DLSS improve it somehow, or it is useless?

I read somewhere that RT is better in the shadows department, builds them better.
For me, so far, the images with RT have too much of a mirror effect to them.
