Clothing - showering nude and the need for RPG'ing.

Ok,

So after a series of missions, when I head back to my apt. I unequip all my stuff one at a time... why? - unequip all easy right?

- "but why would you remove all your clothes to shower? " -

Because it's an RPG.. Role playing game, I don't want to shower in my clothes.
I also grab a bite from the vending machine in my room? - ok I guess all restaurants are taco bell.

Not sure if I stink while covered in blood in game, but after killing 50 + NPC my V doesn't just craw into bed, I find myself wanting to use the shower.

It was early on when I discovered the shower animation is not an animation.
The shower just turns on and gets you wet, clothes an all.. but is the blood gone? I don't know... maybe..maybe not..
how long do you need to stand in the shower to get clean? Why is there a shower but pooping V is off the table? -
After a long day and vending machine food my girl needs to drop a deuce.

I'm not saying #DeathStranding nailed the shower, thing but they fucking nailed the shower thing.
It should be a third person full animation or even where she strips off her clothes and gets in. then a short time later steps out and the clothes are presented to her from the futuristic cyber hamper saying the blood stains were removed... or some other cheeky remark from the AI maid that my corpo V would certainly have in her apartment.

You are correct. I was disappointed as well after the first mission and I was directed back to my apt. Showering with my clothes just takes any immersion I might have had earlier completely off the table. Then I tried to use the vending machine in my room and I couldn't access it for whatever reason.

I also did not see a toilet or I could have been too tired at the time and just missed it. I was hoping for more to do in the apt.

Dude, the "RP" in "LARP" is literally: "Role Play"

Did you try to push the specific button only?
you can't just look at the vending machine, the crosshair needs to literally push one of three buttons on the lower right side.
also if I remember, you need $5 for each item.

Using multiple solutions to solve in-game problems is more accurately called an Immersive Sim. Immersive Sims can have skill points, powers, even social interactions (Deus Ex), but without the "LARPy" stuff, they are not RPGs

Cyberpunk 2077 was meant to be both and should be both, nudity included.

My choice is to play the "shower" role. Gonna try the stealth approach.
Hmm... Wet clothes make motion more difficult...
Makes you quieter too, no noise from movement.

when i saw 2018 trailer 40 min gameplay, i know its scripted and pre-rendered, but they had ideas, i saw female V waking up in her apartment and some dude leaving her room after overnight sex

i thought holy shit i will be able to call on my phone escorts and prostitutes to my apartments and pay for overnight sex. After good mission good reward

but sadly its not ingame
