gig: shark in water won't complete

I got this quest, finished it but it still says it's active in my quest log. Any help, or am I screwed?

I know how this happened, so right next to the quest a random event spawned and the two conflicts overlapped, thus messing up the scripting for the actual Shark in Water quest, so it never completed properly.

Ugh, but "luckily" I save spam so I "only" lost an hour or so of play to redo the quest cleaning. After I clear it out proper I'll do the neighboring random event.

I'm more or less in the same situation, except that I can't "find" Blake to advance the quest after clearing out the warehouse. It would be nice if there were a way to hard-reset a Gig.

I am having the same issue ,but I am hours away from the save. Anyone know how to reset a gig?

I also have this issue.
Not completed in quest log.
Didn't even realize that it was there except I cleared out all of Watson and the Achievement didn't pop. This is whats holding me up, and its easily 20+ hours back (so not going back).
Please post if anyone has a solution.

I did not find him inside the building either. I went out back and down the stairs to the docks to find him. I think he may have been there because of another gig that had me escorting someone through those docks.

Can't find Blake either... Killed him outside of the warehouse, put him in the trunk. Then the mission started over and was tasked to look inside the building. By now the pharmacist was spawned and I can't go back into the building...

Same here but I am also hours away from the save and cant do anything about it hoping they fix this quick
and when I track it, it doesn't show on the map

Similar Problem. Blake was outside the building. I knocked the out and put them in the car before taking out the rest of the building. Came back hours later and the 'neutralize blake' message is still on screen. Talked to the shop owner too and he acknowledges I took out Blake. Is there a fix for this?

Having the same issue and I think it's preventing Skippy from giving me the option to flip the mode after 50 kills. (might not be).

Finished this one WAYYYY early on, but never even went in the building after getting mowed down quickly the first try. So i just sniped everyone from a roof. Found someone saying that starting but not finishing "Sweet Dreams" could cause weapons/items to have the yellow exclamation point ! icon and i recalled both that I had started but not finished after reverting to a save after getting my ass handed to me instantly when trying it early on and that a bunch of hot fixes were specifically to fix issues with tons of bugs connected to starting and not finishing this mission.

But Sweet Dreams was no longer listed in my Journal anywhere. Not in active missions nor completed (and i'm SURE). But I went back to the area in Japantown and was able to do the Sweet Dreams mission. After that, the revolver from River no longer had a yellow exclamation point icon as it had before. So i know this is still a thing even after 1.06.

However, skippy still has the icon and won't give me the option. I've tried every solution i've found for that but think it might be tied to this Shark in the Water gig. This one is still listed in my non-completed missions but has no objectives and if I try to track it I just have no objective to do.

I searched around the beach and there were still Tyger Claws looking for me from that escort mission from the guy in the fridge (IIRC). Took them down and got an NCPD completion thing and leveled up (i'm at 40 now) but no sign of Blake. Looked all over the area. Broke into the back of the pharmacy through the skylight (don't do this unless you have double jump to get back out the way you came in cause the doors don't open from the inside either). No blake.

Lost on what to do now. Think CDPR needs to fix this. God damn this game is glitchy as hell.

Same issue here. Tried everything. Nowhere to be found. Can't platinum because of this. Hopefully the next patch will fix this

Same problem for me. Can't find Blake.
Was doing Big in Japan quest.
Dumped Dennis in the car and started to clean up the area before leaving and triggered this quest.
2 People outside and 3 people inside building terminated. But no Blake to be Found.
This is a major problem in the game.
Also there is an assault in progress right in front of me. But nothing there.

Is the 'assault in progress' on another floor of the building? There's an assault in a multi-storey apartment block in Pacifica which I found pretty hard to track down because I kept being on the wong floor. Found it in the end.
