You had so much in mind and I admire your vision of the game. I am so grateful for Witcher and now Cyberpunk. In a few months when graphics cards are available again in Europe I will celebrate Night City on PC. Thank you CDPR for your art and talent. Playing with XBOX Series S and have only two crashes in 50h of playtime currently. Sure there are things that don't work well, but it doesn't break immersion at any time. I'm excited about what's to come.

You can access the computer, you just have to wiggle yourself very close to it. At least that's how i did it the second time. The first time i just skipped the computer and killed the psycho.

• V appears more modest in the inventory preview after the half year montage

So, I'm seeing a couple of threads every couple of hours since the official response from CD Projekt arrived regarding the "nudity bug". It isn't a bug as you can read here: Official response. All threads seem to be getting closed (don't close this one too, guys, please?), so I decided to open another but with a different tone. A suggestion, a petition.

What follows comes from a mature person that has a healthy relationship for years, so take it with moderation and not as a rant.

We have a mature game in our hands, filled with graphic violence, drugs, alcohol and sex. And yet, we can't take a shower naked and we can't look at our own junk while walking around naked in our own apartment. We can't take naked photos either.

Sure, okay, I can live with being forced to wear underwear once I leave my house, or even auto-equipping my last used gear once I leave my house, that would be fine. But omg... it's just so ridiculous that you allowed us to customize our characters at such sexual level only to see them spinning in our inventory! It's a non-sense, seriously.

This isn't a game breaking mechanic for me, but it sure is immersion breaking. After a certain mission, you wake up dizzy in the shower, looking at the floor and you see yourself wearing trunks (if male V), this totally broke the immersion for me. Up until this moment, I didn't really care that I wasn't able to see my dick when naked. Is not the necesity to see my own junk, it's the fact that a person doesn't get into the shower wearing underwear... and I'm sure you agree with this but you were forced to reduce the nudity during gameplay. There's no other explanation.

The combination of all of this with the fact that you promised the game would feature full nudity without any kind of censorship just really confuses me.

If consoles can't have it, fine, but my dudes.... you own your own platform... GOG and Steam is totally okay with nudity nowadays and adult games...

You made an inclusive game in which you can play as trans people, your NPC's dress like whatever they want, there seems to be no kind of inhibition or censorship, and yet and I can't... look at my own naked body....

Edit: I want add another matter to the discussion. The prostitutes.

Why are there only two NPC's you can interact with to initiate sex? Isn't the whole city cramped with prostitutes or what? I don't really understand it.

For me the reason is more than obvious: censorship again. When you put ONLY two NPC's that you can interact with, far away from the main story and 1st moments of the game, you "hide" those NPC's.

Imagine if you were able to hook up with any prostitute during your first visit to Viktor's (main plot progression). That street is filled with prostitutes, yet you can't really have sex with anyone. Why? These prostitutes don't really act any different than the two that you can interact with, (the ones that are far away, hidden from main story) they would invite you to their place and that's it.

I'm 100% sure the original idea was for you to be able to initiate sex with any prostitute <is prostitute=true> and allow players to interact with them. Not so hard... and VERY easy to censor.

Edit 2: I want to start adding some of the corcerns expressed in this thread for easy access for the devs, if you want yours to be added, sent me a PM.

Upon first getting back to V's apartment, the very first time, I went into my cache, organized and checked a few new things out, and proceeded to undress to take a shower. I felt immersed. I was having a blast. And then.. The underwear.

That's when I paused and came to see if I'm the only one, and I'm far from alone, obviously.

This game needs tender, loving care. Removing features that were so obviously already there feels similar to locking the game up in a basement like that dude in the beginning of Breaking Bad.

I will say - I followed instructions I saw in a few posts and rapidly swapped pants, which DID glitch the game and remove the underwear.
I took my FULLY-IMMERSED, Naked shower, glitched the undies BACK on, and laid down for the night to proceed the game. [...]

Haha okay I'm nitpicking, so back to being serious.

The other thing is, so all these hours put into genital customization, couldn't have then went into making the character creation more in depth, maybe individual selection for tattoos, piercings, and etc. Hell there isn't even a zoom in and out feature when you first customize your character(I'm gonna guess because of the genitals). It's just mindboggling really. I also share the same gripes on the other missing features that were falsely advertised as something way more in depth, yet that's for another thread.

Nudity is not what I care about, the sentiment is what bothers me for the most part, I would've bought this game if I wasn't able to customize my genitals, yet if you going to have it in the game and market it, insinuating that the game will have more use for it, then keep that same energy. I don't and can't blame other people for being upset about this.

Jokes aside. Just like Bethesda when they did their decision that all mods are cheats, and disables achievements, that mods have to come to the rescue for an unreasonable decision.

So mods once again will have to come to this rescue, unless decisions are turned around.

If the devs or management or whoever is so concerned about full nudity, then why bother with a censor option toggle? Why have fully nudity in inventory but no where else? Why was there time and effort in adding genitalia and public hair options in the character customization? Its a head scratcher.

If grown adults want to be uncensored, let us.
If we don't want to be uncensored, then we turn it off.

Please, don't give us a half an option. If the decision is never turned around, I guess we will be stuck with mods for the rest of the game's life.

I'm not trying to sound mean, just feedback that I see zero good reasons or logic for the decision. The only official response didn't have a reason. To me it feels of a wrong move.

If I have to mod the game, I'll mod the game. Its just something that shouldn't be needing a mod.

We don't see it much in tabletop because of the format, but when you have a visual one like in CP2077 the world lacks some very essential grittiness.

Personally I like not having anything arousing in my games. It's just a distraction from why I've sat down to game in the first place. But CP2077 without it feels toothless and half-hearted. It makes the game far less than it would be otherwise. Nudity and in-your-face porn is easily worth the discomfort in this case.

It shouldn't be made to arouse tho. It should be made to discomfort and disgust. CP2077 should even showcase ppl who've replaced they sexual organs with cybernetic prosthesis' for "enhanced pleasure", and other things that would nausiate us to even consider in real life.

I really hope CDPR will reconsider.

I play the game on XSX, and the character is nude in the inventory view, and there are cutscenes with (at least) female nudity. It doesn't make sense to me that our character is forced to wear underwear in their apartment etc.
I hope this will be reconsidered for a future patch of the game where forced underwear is governed by the censor filter that is togglable in the settings.

This is also such a minor thing that should be easily changed and would scratch one of the complaints of the current list

I personally question the design decision to force underwear onto a player that has the Nudity Filter turned OFF, because it truly has no reasonable explanation whatsoever to justify it. To me it's not about seeing a naked body, whether ingame or movie, but about the principle of the matter. It's about not letting someone else decide what I can or cannot see, hear or know.

- The game is advertised as Mature
- The game has a Nudity Filter specifically made for players to choose what they want to see
- The game allows the player to customize V's genitalia and examine it in all its glory with all its customization options
- The game shows you the genitalia at the very customization screen
- The game shows you the genitalia in the inventory screen
- There is a naked woman and a man in the very first mission
- Female V can see her breasts in first person
- There is sex in the game

So there is absolutely no reasonable explanation that can explain why the game is forcing underwear in first person, when everywhere else it is showing genitalia completely normal. It breaks immersion, it breaks roleplay and makes no sense whatsoever. The fact that so many people reported this as a bug shows just how questionable this decision really is and how nobody agrees with it.

I hope they listen to the community and make the reasonable decision. Nudity Filter is there for a reason obviously, so let us use it how we see fit.

Disabling the console for pc users? screw that. If people are too daft to use it, that's on them. Don't screw over the rest of us because of a few people crashing their game and breaking their quests.

I think the problem is that people are making their own tweaks, having problems and then blaming CDPR of those problems. This should narrow the problems to only those of CDPR:s own bugs.
Sucks i know, but if people would use their common sense this most likely would not happen.
Also, they stated that this isn't going to be permanent, so lets just wait.

Whenever I'm in game on PC the minute I hit M key to bring up the map, Not just the game but my PC will crash. It does this every time and I cant enjoy the game if I cant bring the map up, to see where to go or to do mission's etc. I also cant use the travel point thing, whenever I interreact with it, the game an my PC crash as well.

Why don't we ask for things that are going to improve the game mechanics before QoL changes? This seems like something that can be added much later. As it stands, you only need to hit the button once (at least on PC) and V runs until you run into something or tell V otherwise.

Walk button for PC please and thank you.

QoL changes should come later IMO.

PC-specific

• [AMD SMT] Optimized default core/thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors remain unchanged and behaving as intended. This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and based on tests on both sides indicating that performance improvement occurs only on CPUs with 6 cores and less.
• Fixed an issue with the way Raw Input is collected.
• Removed the use of AVX instruction set thus fixing crashes occurring at the end of the Prologue on processors not supporting AVX.
• Removed debug console to prevent functions that could lead to crashes or blocked quests. This doesn't mean we don't want to support the modding community. Stay tuned for more info on that.
• Ray traced reflections should no longer seem too bright in comparison to the environment.
• Fixed an issue with Steam Overlay crash on game shutdown.
• Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.

Console-specific

• Improved image sharpness with Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain on.
• Settings should no longer reset to default after several game session restarts.
• Fixed visual issues occurring during the transition between The Heist and Love Like Fire.
• Corrected the look of several vehicles.
• [Xbox] Entering combat while Synaptic Accelerator is active no longer ends in player health bar not being displayed.
• [Xbox] Game no longer becomes unresponsive when signing out from a profile when the controller disconnection message is visible.
• Telemetry consent request will appear once more due to an earlier issue with settings reset.
• Fixed an issue whereby it was possible to fall down the elevator shaft in Megabuilding H8 in Automatic Love.
