Hotfix 1.05

+
I never liked the posturing they were doing. Chasing fickle gamer's aproval is not going to get them anywhere. Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem are bad games at their core. No amount of bug fixing would change that. Cyberpunk 2077 on PC is GREAT even in it's current state. Comparing CD Projekt Red to EA is ridiculous.
Doesn't change the fact that this game is a mishmash of Far Cry, GTA and The Division (just look at that inventory, wow, so familiar).
Nothing like the "full-fledged RPG" we were advertised. The game is nice, for those who enjoy Ubisoft games, but it's not an RPG. A lot of games have "RPG elements", Ubisoft games included, but at least Ubisoft games are not advertised to be something they are not. Those sidequests are so Ubisoft-ish that I got no better way to describe them...

Hi! I was wondering if you could fix the two following (Series x) bugs:
-When only two weapons are equipped they do not switch with Y button. Only one holsters/unholster
-when dismantling junk, after selecting the amount of pieces of that item, part of the HUD disappears.
TX
(Ps: getting Stealth exp when dumping bodies after all enemies were taken down and gig/hustle completed does not have much sense)

I've never compared this game to GTA5. CP is not GTA5 and GTA5 is not CP. I've never write something about bugs either. I'm just disappointed with performance and optimalization of this game, thats all...

This is the life of a budget PC gamer. Keep in mind that they never specified a framerate. We're assuming they didn't mean 1080/30, but that's an easy loophole for them. Red Dead Redemption 2 has the exact same GPU for their recommended settings (GTX 1060) and that is barely good enough for 1080/60 (with headroom) on low settings.

AND Red Dead Redemption 2 crashed a lot more than Cyberpunk 2077. It crashed consistently and you couldn't manually save meaning you would lose a lot of progress in that game often.

@gregski nope unfortunately after 42 GB of downloading it's still stuck at 1.0.4 :) So there's something wrong with GoG Galaxy update service.

Yeah, or GOG Galaxy just keeps showing 1.04 instead of 1.05.

I will reinstall the game in full and see if that changes. I downloaded 42GB too.

I agree. RDR2 was a worse game according to performance and optimalization...

[AMD SMT] Optimized default core/thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors remain unchanged and behaving as intended. This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and based on tests on both sides indicating that performance improvement occurs only on CPUs with 6 cores and less.
Hard pass on your corpo speak. :coolstory:
Can confirm an average increase of ~10FPS on a 2700X system.
Also many others including big youtube names can confirm real improvement with 3rd party patch ON vs OFF on many more systems (with 8, 12 or even 16 cores) 🙄🙄

re-visit this issue and fix it properly next time. they have open code on github available. you have no excuse

The RPG elements are probably the game's strongest selling point. The leveling and perk system is deep and rewarding. Does Fallout 4 or The Outer Worlds have deeper RPG elements than this game?

I agree. I found lot of another guys with same specs, worse CPU and they play CP on high settings with stable 60+FPS. I dunno what to do anymore. I was so excited for this game, I gave trust to CDPR and now I'm sad and disappointed...

They are probably overclocking.

It still is a mess :)
Strange, I did not stumble upon any noticeable bugs when I played RDR2.
But in CP, it's all the time. Items that are marked but can't be picked up (especially flat ones like Letters, Vinyls, Posters, Cards, Ash Trays and especially when they are on the floor), and I almost got killed just by walking down the stairs because the stairs suddenly tried to swallow V (with a short falling animation).

  • [AMD SMT] Optimized default core/thread utilization for 4-core and 6-core AMD Ryzen(tm) processors. 8-core, 12-core and 16-core processors remain unchanged and behaving as intended. This change was implemented in cooperation with AMD and based on tests on both sides indicating that performance improvement occurs only on CPUs with 6 cores and less.

  • Ray traced reflections should no longer seem too bright in comparison to the environment.
  • Fixed an issue with Steam Overlay crash on game shutdown.
  • Removed the memory_pool_budgets.csv file. which was not connected with the final version of the game and had no influence on it (it was a leftover file used during the development to estimate memory usage. It had no effect on how much memory was actually allocated). Perceived performance increase after editing the file may have been related to restarting the game.
