It is people replying to a post about sexual content in the game, so it would be weird if no one mentioned it in a thread like this
But to me, it's more that CDPR have clearly developed a system for doing BDs, with different layers, reverse, forward, scanning etc. And again it was clearly possible in the first trailer they made. So BDs as a functionality and concept within CP is clearly there because they intended it to be used by the players.
I think most people that have tried how they work now, would probably agree that these might as well have been cutscenes and you being given the information instead, without having to scan anything. It's not like you as player have to think about anything when doing it, all the informations that are relevant to the BD or mission are already highlighted for you anyway.
I started my second playthrough, and not sure ill get through it, because the replayability doesn't really seem to be there as they said it was, at least not in regards to the story. But the BD section are not interesting the second time, they are simply time consuming and nothing more.
The whole concept of BDs are highlighted throughout the game, both with random people doing it, characters talking about how it is used, missions and so forth, yet it plays are very little role in regards to the player. It could have been made a lot more interesting and explored in a much better way or simply used as a side activity or a collection reward system. You could find random information on these that could lead to missions etc. Could these BDs contain sex, sure, because that would fit the lore, but that doesn't mean that it should be their only purpose and even if a BD contained that, doesn't mean that it couldn't also at the same time lead to a mission.
