First of all sorry for my english.
I have logged in for the first time just for congratulate with the developers of this game for having reawakened my suicidal thoughts. I managed to maintain them at bay for years including during 2020, despite everything, but this game managed to do that. I guess from now on I have to be more careful what I do for escapism. I thought video games were a safe bet.

I'm not advertising anything, but there are a plenty of specially written escapist books, where hero always wins, get power, loot and harem of beautiful elven princesses)

I think it is still possible for them to create an even sadder ending in the "cyberpunk style" were Judy, Panam, River, Kerry, Viktor, Misty die.

Yeah, and die on a really bad terms, partly killing each other, as members of van der Linde's gang in Red Dead Redemption. In the very end only V's love interest survives, long enough to cry over V's severed head, only to be desecrated and eaten by rabid feral dogs from the sewers)

If Relic can overwrite DNA for a Johny's engram, why can't it overwrite DNA once again, for a V's engram? And if Relic can overwrite DNA at all, Arasaka would not need close blood relative (son) for Saburo, they could take any body.

We have no idea why he is there but smasher is not a mere bodyguard. Even people at arasaka shit their pants when they see him.

Smasher can basically go wherever he wants, because he is Saburos personal project. Maybe smasher told yorinobu to stay in line or to simply tell him that his pops is visiting NC in the near future.

Once yorinobu takes over the company, he is off course surrounding himself with loyal assets. Smasher is as loyal as it gets, because arasaka supplies him with the newest tech and blood to spill.

Can somebody explain how they created a fine engram from a dead Saburo Arasaka when Jackies engram was also created from a dead body, but it was a dump as a meme box.

If I understand right that for a successful engram to be created the body has to be alive and it's killed in the progress when the copy is made.

you are thinking about soulkiller. The whole point of Save your Soul seems to be to just create a copy of a person. So Saburo might have saved an engram of himeslf before he visited his son. If he anticipated his death and had some sort of plan, maybe? If only the writers had thought of that -_-
Then a clone of Saburo could have been killed by Yori, while the real Saburo could have been Darth Saburo somewhere else.

If I recall correctly the Relic has rewritten the body to no longer accept V's engram anymore but instead Johnny's.
Alt says at some point that V's body is now Johnny's body.

For the record, I don't believe there is no possibility to reverse that damage. cetainly some piece of tech or whit is available somewhere to change that.

Because of shitty writing in the epilogue. Suddenly, the nanobots changed the DNA of the brain.

I almost suffered a stroke when I saw that on my screen.

To be honest half of that went past me because I was still dead on track thinking the game wasn't over.
I was litterally thinking that Mikoshi was the first step and we'd still get the next act to go after Yurinobu.
When the ending kicked in I though, ooh, maybe I'm not going after Arasaka but instead save my life together with the Aldecaldos in a completely new part of the map (wouldn't be the first time we'd venture off map)

then the credits rolled and my brain shut down with so many questions and a gutted heart.

If something can rewrite your DNA one time it probably can do it again, i mean it is DNA we talking about it, is not something simple as makeing your hair have diferent color, if tech is so powerfull to rewrite your DNA he probably can do it more time then once.
