griefing the forum

Is it really griefing if they are bringing up valid criticism? Also wasn't the refund deadline the 21st of December or something? Anyway it was before Christmas conveniently. At least conveniently for CDPR.

bored? nothing on netflix? you should thank CDPR for giving such focus and meaning to life.

don't like the game, cool.
a little angry you didn't get what you imagined this would be, totally fair.
your console can't run when you were told it could, i'd be furious too.

but by why waste your time griefing so hard?
play another game.
spend time with a human.
watch porn.
create something yourself.
i dunno.
LOL the weirdest thing at this point is the ppl who have gotten their refund. I mean if it wasn't what you hoped and you got your money back why are you still here ranting. And just to point out, criticism is not the same as blatant hating and rants. Criticisms I'd most definitely welcome but what I've mostly seen here can only be described as clickbait either for attention or views.

I don't need to thank them.
I gave them my money. Which by the way so far they have neglected to refund me.

This game has been one of the worst bait and switch experiences I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing.
Everything was lies and smoke and mirrors. Everyone at CDPR should be collectively ashamed of themselves for what they have done here.

Last time I am buying from Gog too. I tried to support CDPR the best way I knew how, pre-ordered it on their own platform, tried to not get overhyped but they even failed to deliver what they delivered with W3.
These types of comments by users is probably the cringiests things I see on the internet these days, CDPR didn't do me a favor unless it was to expose themselves for the liars that they are.

Well you could easily ignore those posts and engage the other 100 that do have a valid criticism and conversation in it.

We are not 'griefing' about the game, well not really.
Most of us just want this game to strive and become better, companies need constructive feedback be it good or bad. However, I'll admit there is still tension especially after a lot of players (myself included) was hoping and expecting more, especially with how CDPR hyped up their game and lied to their fans, still deep down we just want to enjoy the game but it isn't exactly easy right now given the amount of repetitive content, linear story and bugs etc.. A lot of it despite what you may think is actually warranted.

Apparently the playerbase for this game is starting to fall, which though perhaps expected just goes to show that something with this game needs to be done, otherwise it will keep falling. The game isn't even a month old yet and considering the hype it isn't exactly that great. Companies want players to keep playing their products and remain interested.

This is mainly why I'm still hanging around the forum, though I have noticed that a lot of forum posts are getting repeated now and thus once I receive my new Laptop through the post I'm probably going to leave and just move on with my life. Get over the disappointment and take a complete break from Cyberpunk.

I have said my bit on multiple threads now, I just hope that CDPR reads our feedback, takes it in and we finally get the game we deserve.

If this game was released with title "Early Access" people would not be as upset.

I mean, I played today 6h and had to save and load the game twice to fix visual bugs. Johnny, Eurodyne and V were missing items in hands in main mission dialogue parts. Rogue was also glitching when I went to a mission with her. Johnny's visual glitch moved as a layer on my screen like a ghost when ever I moved. Black bar appeared on my screen when he took over V's body, twice. I can go on and on.... and thats just a list from todays playthrough.

Then again with Covid an all a lot of people are working from home and working from home can be a little boring, soooo to that end in the middle of doing work duties it can help to blow off a little steam by casting out a line and seeing what bites.

But yeah don't think it is helpful to conflate legit criticism with mindless whining, some people like the game and see issues and come here to discuss the merits of the game and the things it could have done better, some people are just disappointed and want to get things off their chest which is also perfectly valid, of course there are legitimate whiners who linger on the forums far too long even after getting a refund or they have some sort of brain deficiency where they think they can hold onto the game without going for a refund and use it as leverage to get CDPR to do what they want because the game failed to live upto their expectations, but I don't think it is fair to lump all criticism in with these people.

It's nothing.

Let me tell you about the last days of the BSN.

Haha yeah, fun times

Imagine having something better to do in the middle of a pandemic.

But that asude, what you call griefing, we call holding the company accountable.

Yes and it seems to have been held accountable pretty amazingly well since launch.
Even in the news.
So now it's just complaining as hobby.
On the companies own forums.
And there is plenty to do worthwhile other then Cyberpunk during a pandemic.
Or maybe even another game if you can't think of anything else?

I just bought a Lego bonsai tree for me & a Lego floral arrangement for me mum ('tis her birthday today). They just came out.

I am getting quite desperate for new stuff. I like stuff (still). Original stuff mowstly.

That Lego grand piano is the shit though...don't know how much longer I can hold out. Pricey but. I do have the dosh I didn't end up forking out for the collector's ed of Cyberpunk however as I cancelled at the last minute (one of my better decisions)...hmm.

maybe learn to play that lego piano now ;) ?

all of this is fair to complain about.
send bug reports.
but the "Worst game ever or what?" or "how much do you hate this game" type topics are pretty eye rolly. we all know they released it in rough shape. but to go on and on and on seems a bit, sad.
not to mention the 13 year olds that feel the inability to remove underpants is an affront to their pre-launch fantasies.

i think we live in a time where even movies can get re-worked with fan input (Snyder Cut)
look at Witcher 3 and it's after launch support.
it will get there.
it launched broken like a lot of games.
maybe the same fans that were "wE NeeD THis gAMe reLeASE IT nOw!" should pat themselves on the back.

I have not bought the piano yet.

Dagnabbit, now I'm thinking about it again. This is way too much pressure man!

The Lego NES is sweet too, ooh, and the Colosseum...oh and the ECTO-1.

Fvck.

You do realise they will be only held accountable if they actually react to it and satisfy our demands/requests/suggestions, you name it. This is not how this all works lol. Just because you stated something once, you don't stop until you get what you want. Look at this as a form of protest if you will/
And yes, on the company forum, that is responsable for the game. The game we wanna see improved? What's your point again?

And you will be pleased to find out (judging by your last sentence) that CP77 has indeed encouraged me to buy Skyrim special edition and dwell back into that game while I wait for this one to be brought up to a state that is worths playing again.

but to bring it up again and again posting GTA comparison videos and clickbait youtubers all in a rage kinda is just whining.

can never go wrong with skyrim.
and given covid and the holidays I'm amazed the team even released the hotfixes.
it'll get done.
it's not even a month yet is it?
at least the reasonable things will get tended to.

Yep, and until then, talking about what was promised and would be a quality of life/immersion improvement is a completely valid way of spending your time on this forum.

Not all criticism is constructive, but if it is delivered in a constructive fashion it certainly is not "griefing."

If every person that had complaints with the game departed this forum & other social media where the game is being discussed, what would be the result? Those complaints would not get heard & there is very real possibility that they would not be addressed in future patches or content updates.

Echo chambers of positivity would not be helpful.

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, game has many flaws and pointing them out in a constructive manner can only bring good things, but the amount of whinining about stupid things on these boards is staggering and sometimes funny (let say It, a thread about slow elevators can only be described as funny whining  )

Ofc there will be troll posts... every platform has them...
