The very beautiful V creation thread

+
I like to create very feminine, very beautiful characters in my RPGs. I figured it might be useful to have a thread to share tips and full "instructions" for those of us interested in getting the most out of the character creator to build Vs who are hot as the are deadly.

This is the V I'm currently working on. I'm happy with everything except maybe her mouth, which isn't bad but maybe could be a bit fuller. If anyone has suggestions for the best mouth selection, please share!

CDPR: are you reading this? This process would be a lot easier IF WE COULD CHANGER OUR CHARACTERS' LOOKS IN-GAME!!

The idea with this list is for interested creators to quickly build the same character; you can then tweak to your liking, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

MY V:

Lifepath: Corpo (I'm listing everything, not just physical options, for the sake of completeness)

Voice tone: feminine

Skin tone: option 1

Skin type: 04

Hairstyle: 12

Hair color: pink/purple (last option, bottom right)

Eyes: 10

Eye color: default (the white cyborg-y ones)

Eyebrows: 03

Eyebrow color: purplish (section option to last)

Nose: 15

Mouth: 09 (this is the option I'm struggling with a bit. Option 9 looks good in the creator; in-game it might come out as a tad thin. Any suggestions?)

Jaw: 17

Ears: 16

Cyberware: 07

Facial scars: off

Facial tattoos: 10

Piercings: 09

Piercing color: pink (second to last)

Teeth: 00

Eye make up: 04

Eye make up color: purplish (fifth option from last / 2nd last option on top row)

Lip make up: 05

Lip make up color: black (1st option)

Cheek make up: off

Cheek make up color: n/a

Blemishes: off

Blemish color: n/a

Nails: short:

Nail color: black

Chest: default

Nipples: 02

Body tattoos: 04

Body scars: off

Genitals: vagina

Penis size: n/a

Pubic hair style: off

Pubic hair color: n/a

Notes: I'm obviously going for a pink/purple thing with V's colors, so I tied to match her hair with her piercings and eye shadow. Black lips are one of my favorite things so I always give my ladies black lips when possible; the black fingernail polish balance that out against all the purple. I chose not to do the reddish-purple teeth because it didn't seem fitting for a Corpo, but this might be a good option for a Street Kid.

Boobs: the default option is actually a pretty nice rack, so I didn't go bigger.

The hardest selections for me are usually: eyes, nose, jaw. Very slight changes to any of the three can have dramatic impacts to your character's look. The eyes I selected because they are intense and smoldering; and I typically find that the best jaws are a bit rounder, as going thin often translates into "gaunt" in-game. Mouth: I'm still playing with this. Options that look good in the character creator are coming out thin in-game, which is WHY IT WOULD BE GREAT IF WE COULD TWEAK OUR CHARACTERS' LOOKS IN NIGHT CITY, CDPR!

I didn't really care for any of the pubic hair options; they ranged from "70s" to "porn robot" to me, which may be fine for other Vs but not the one I'm making. So I went unshaved. This also seemed to fit well with the general blemish-less, pale, un-scarred state of Vs body as I designed it.

Tattoos: I went with the face (neck, actually) and body tattoos I did because they seemed good for a Corpo; nothing that couldn't be covered up with clothing, and not to "gang member." Obviously this should change for Nomads or Street Kids.

Nails: maybe go long if you want to focus on blades.

Skin tone: I went pale, but obviously this can be any color. I think my V has Irish heritage.

Hair: my first attempt, before I found out YOU CAN'T CHANGER YOUR CHARACTER'S APPERANCE ONE YOU EXIT THE CREATOR, had a severe ponytail. It seemed fitting for a Corpo drone, but then I found out you are only a Corpo (or a Nomad or Street Kid) for five minutes or so, and then you're a merc prowling the streets. Hair style 12 is cute and looks appropriate for any stage of V's journey.

That's it. Do you have a V that you're proud of? Share some (or all) of your char creator selections, or reply with suggestions to what I posted. Especially regarding the mouth - I'm still not sure about option 9.

Also not sure that adding character model changes would be practical. Hair...sure and tattoos/cybernetics. However not even Skyrim allows you to change appearance once you have chosen, it's just not good game design due to the restrictions it would pose.

How the hell do you remember what you choose

This should probably be in the share your v thread btw

Probably wrote it down. I know I write down my character presets in a notepad once I get it right, in case I have to restart my game. Especially since sometimes the creation screen is under very forgiving lighting, and when you get your character out in the sunlight they look hideous.

Why not include a pic in addition to the character details so ppl can see the result? Though there's already a similar thread

I'd like to but I need to figure out how to do it. I can update my post once I do. In the meantime, following the selections anyone can create an exact dupe of this V in about 30 seconds.

Wish I had thought of that lol I legit started a new game three times when I first began :coolstory:

In this game there would be issues because certain romance options are linked to your voice/genital selections, so those couldn't be changed. However, I don't see any reason why hair, nails, and makeup can't be changed on the fly. Beyond that, though, it is a common problem of having to redo character creators (and usually the early minutes of the game) over and over to tweak things like eyes, noses, jaws, etc. There should be some option to tweak these things, since even tiny changes can have big impacts to a character's look.

Plus, this is a world where you can have your arms chopped off and replaced with mantis blades. There's no way to change your nose?

DLC. Guaranteed

I think you're right. I'm sure it got cut for time, with thinking being, by the time players are sick of their character's looks the option will come online with DLC.

Really, this wouldn't be an issue if the in-game rendering matched the character creators better. Even a hour grace period to pop back into the creator to make tweaks would be... something.

I agree for the world of Night City it would make sense but there's a reason almost all open world games avoid it... Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA, Skyrim. Even though they are open world they stick to a standard character model, it's a design nightmare otherwise especially when updates or DLC's need to be rolled out. I would love if that were possible though so I'm with you there.

Is there a big difference between an "offline" (not really) RFP like Skyrim, and an "online" one like Elder Scrolls Online? Because in ESO, you can change everything about your character, from gender to race. For a fee, of course.

Yeah, very much true.
And this topic makes me think of something.
I have tried to recreate my character so I could write down what features were what. Primarily this set
-Eyes:
-Nose:
-Mouth:
-Jaw:
Everything else I need I can easily deduce but the combination of the above I'm struggling with.

[Edit]: I think I was able to reconstruct my character after many tries and comparisons :D

yea..."Face" sculpture (not immediately accessible btw). Also doesn't change body, complexion and definitely not gender or anything you saw him list above. I'm sure you can tell from the discussions what the OP is asking for so I stand by my point.

Skyrim only allows face because the bodys a set body much like CP but CP though a default body can be customized, pretty sure it also allows you to change skin tone, complexion etc though it been awhile and maybe that was mods.

Dont believe anyone should be allowed to change "gender" just because of story but nothing stopping them allowing basically everything else.

If you start as male your locked but can change everything you wish bar gender, i see no reason not to allow it nor swapping your penis out for a vagina if you so choose, i'd even allow body if there was actual body size options

just sharing mine. hardest was the eyes to make it stand out

It's loosely based on a Daisy Ridley inspired build I did just altered to be a bit more cyberpunky. Think it came out pretty decent.
