1.2 Ongoing Bugs List

+
I've noticed that as well on PC, there's a distinct lack of light sources, especially traffic.
I was hoping I am wrong. It seems that they increased the number of fps by reducing light sources. Why on earth would they do something like that on PCs? :(

as a Street Kid, V shouldn't be able to teleport to Glen in chapter 1. It can break the game in many ways, and you're not supposed to, since Watson is on lockdown...

I used to take beautiful close-up screens of character's faces in photo mode. With 1.2 it's not possible anymore, because when you zoom in on things, and then you enter photo mode, the screen is funny looking, all blocky and blurred, like you took LSD or something.

I sent a bunch of tickets to the support team. They answered to every single one, so kudos to them.

Anyway, sometimes they ask me to update a video on YouTube of the problem or bug i have reported, and send them a link. Sorry folks, ain't gonna happen, too lazy for that... BUT they answered positively about the above two problems, and said they'll look into it, so they'll probably fix them in the future. The second is expecially annoying, since it wasn't the case BEFORE the last patch.

I encourage everyone to send support tickets for every bug you notice. It's really the only official way to let 'em know what has to be fixed. Trust me, they answer. Not the day after, of course, but they do.

I found the place from Digital Foundry video and took a shot. It seems that the lighting it is not as bad as I thought.

Dunno about that place in particular, I was downtown around Corpo plaza on one of the straight wide boulevard roads surrounding the interior circular road at night and it was almost pitch black except for the occasional side lamp post, the traffic didn't have either headlights nor taillights so I was bumping into shit left and right.

I posted several pictures of some really dark places in this thread. So... you might be right. But I am not sure if it's patch 1.2 related (or if it was like that before 1.2).

Found a new weird one between two of the Captains gigs, over the cuckoos nest and going away party.

Completed cuckoos nest gig, all well jasmine escorted to the car, got the call from captain saying hes happy etc.

Then I approach the quest marker for going away party, instead of the intro for that gig, I get a call from captain complaining as though id screwed up the prior gig.

Already done several full playthroughs on versions 1.0 through 1.12 and never had this before.

Here are the bugs/problems I have found and are annoying so far:
  • Gorilla Arms are buggy, when you change from physical to something else, the texture keeps changing back
  • Hovering instead of walking... this happens on all kind of surfaces
  • A lot of flickering textures
  • Sound bugs, a lot of times you can hear cars revving when there are no cars around
  • Inventory, mods are missing pictures
  • In combat scenarios, npc's spawn out of nowhere
  • Motorcycle steering controls are horrible
  • Seating position inside some cars is not good, you can't see the road

Keep up the good work devs
Cheers
Am having the same with gorilla arms. Did you see it changing back or just never see the other textures? Mine are stuck at physical.

[Edit] By the way I'm using the rare GA, haven't tried with others

PLEASE ADDRESS THIS VIDEO SETTING!!!!!

1280x 1024 is the best video setting for my computer screen (13 inch) and video card. Its what the game automatically sets as my video resolution and gives me the best FPS when playing the game. The problem is that, when I mouse over a lot of items, the information about that item doesn't show. It even happens when shopping at vendors..I have no idea what I'm buying. If I change my video settings to 1280x960 or 1280x800 I lose frames when playing the game..also the visual experience doesn't look right especially at the inventory screen. Everything is more stretched.

CDprojectred Please fix this problem. Don't know why this wasn't addressed in this previous patch

I agree with this bug, I also use this screen resolution, the inventory típs disapears / text is too long, specialy iconic items

May just be me but I cant disassemble MaxDoc Mk1 anymore, the BounceBack Mk1, Mk2 and MaxDoc Mk2 can.

Also, when you hover the cursor over the BounceBacks you get the key help message in the bottom right of the screen indicating that it can be disassebled with the z key, you dont get this message for either the MaxDoc Mk1 or Mk2

A mysterious bug that makes yours game LITERALLY COMPLETLY IMPOSIBLE TO COMPLETE is STILL in the game.

I currently can't scan ANY yellow clue objects in the game WHAT SO EVER. i have tried numerious proposed fixes from a different thread and nothing worked. I tried reinstall game, rewind back on save files, and literallly nothing works. The game does in face quite literally become unplayable due to this bug.

Why the fuck this hasn't been top on their list of things to do is beyond me.

The cop system still blows. Can cops please use cars and can MAXTAC please arrive in their flying vehicles, just like at the start of the game? Not sure if that counts as a bug, but it sure is annoying.

Sacrum Profanum Quest, maelstrom guy spawned inside the shipping container by the satisfaction machine, directly in front of you when you use the side entrance. Also missing the Optional: No Fatalities, quest objective on the quest task list.

Am i the only one who can't see a real difference between before and after the 1.06 patch? OK, the game is not crashing every 5 sec for no reason, but the contained is still broken as F. I can't loot meca 50% of the times (no hit box and sometimes there physics kill me like a bomb when i try to hard to find an hit box) The crafting system is still broken when i get items at legendary levels (no more description/comparison available, quest sign appear on it - i didn't know river's gun was a legendary item quest - and disepear of the inventory). The more disrespectfull thing probably is the fact that i can't craft jhonny's clothes without getting them back to the quest sign, which mean that they are still bugged ( dupplicated and stonking the inventory for no reason). I mean, if they can't code that thing nicely, why they don't give us items directly in legendary level? 6 month since the realise of this game. I hoped that maj gonna be an answer, i'm so disappointed right now...

Choke out animation still looks jank,
enemy character has serious clipping on their clothes while V holds them.
Mantis blades are getting better but kill animation still too slow.
Kerenzikov still doesn't work. The bullet does not fire where you aim which forces you to lead using guesswork.
Ragdolls still need work. Some die appropriately but a lot still rag doll in extremely weird poses.

Yes, I came here to say the exact same thing. I did manage to work around it though, only because I wasn't worried about a 'no casualties' completion. This is a zero-stealth/solo play-through for me.

First, I tried dropping grenades next the container to see if I could 'knock him out' of it. That didn't work.

I did have mantis blades by that portion of the game though. I found that if I walked right up to the container and attacked like crazy, I could coax him to stick parts of himself outside the container. That allowed me to connect a few attacks and eventually kill him.

In fact just before my final attack he actually popped out of the opposite side of the container; perhaps I triggered a knockdown or staggered animation. Hard to say because I couldn't see him. Anyway, that allowed me to complete the quest.

(Ps4 pro)

2 sound bugs, also in previous patches.
The gorilla arms finisher move doesn't match the sound.
When crawling out of the dumpster - this one is so bizarre because of the time missmatch - V leans on a box and falls down and the sound for that happens like full 2 seconds before. And if I stop the crawling midway it's even more missmatched, like there is a timer from the beggining of the crawl
