Bonhart on Ciri Nova didn´t work

I have played Bonhard in ranged row while opponent had Ciri Nova out and he did not destroy the card.
Since Ciri Nova has Witcher as a subtype it should´ve work if I am not mistaken?

Well there is another card with the term "destroy" but in fact he destriy the shield (as a damage) if the unit has shield.

Problably Leo has the same problem

EDIT: i think its moreelse. If you pay his tribute he hits the shield and doesnt destroy the card

EDIT 2: could be champion charge with bloodthirsty 3


I realy cant remember, but that has happen to me with one of thus cards where it says "destroy" but hits the shiled as a damage

Nope. She had shield, veil, resilience and all that but it was the only unit on opponents ranged row.

Well lore-wise Ciri kills Bonhart so this is okay.

Hmm. Well, if you're sure nothing was preventing the kill you can always report it.
