Patch 1.23

+
Who, me? You kidding, right? The game is more stable and apparently there is less game breaking and progress breaking bugs. But graphically it's just as glitchy as it ever was, there is nothing done to address all the gameplay issues either. "Being able to play it" doesn't cut it in my book. I don't play glitchy games. The last broken game I played was Stalker from 2007. I only play high quality games and Cyberpunk is still not it.
You never know you might like it ;)

No worries, I will. Once all the improvements to the game are implemented. Then I will be able to judge the game in its finest.
Same. I am happy that the devs are working hard to stabilize the game, but I will hold off on starting a true campaign until there are some quality of life improvements like fixing the effect that monowire has on V's shoulder mesh and unsticking Evelyn Parker's handbag from her fingers.

In part I wish I had done it and the biggest frustration I feel was to play that firat time in such a rollercoaster state but on the other hand I had the game to play at a time when it was most welcome. I hope soon I'll have even less availability to play for such times. But yeah the first time should have been more special XD
So you are in my thoughts. May you continue celibate :p

Edit: just remembered that in the early patches sometimes the whole gameplay session was so hickupye I spent it reading shards I had

Ive been mostly problem free from bugs, have a good pc so the game looks good still its not that good of a game for me(still get ALOT of glitches/weird physics and so on tho). Started playing in 1.23 and hade quest bugs ive never seen before... So yea. Great work... Quests not compleating mostly and i think i have more crashes now then i hade in 1.20. If i remove my gfx card Oc it works better but still get some crashes. Think witcher 3 also hade that issue with not liking OCed gfx cards. Bet its something in REDengien that does it. Anyways gonna give it another playtrough too see if it gets better... Hopefully some new content is comming soon or i have a hard time too see sales going up tbh

For PC worse patch ever ! To increase 2 fps they reduced graphic quality and live at a city. A lot of less cars and city citizens make city boring. GRAPHICS EFFECT ARE REDUCE CONSTANTLY FROM VERSION 1.3 WHICH IS ACTUALLY THE BEST AND LOOKS BREATHTAKING BUT IN 1.23 REDUCTION MAKE THIS GAME TWO LEVELS WORSE AND LOOKS NOT MUCH BETTER THAN ON CARD WITHOUT RTX! I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY DID THAT . YOU CAN REDUCE DETAILS IN SETTING AND MAKE GAME FASTER. ADDITIONALLY THERE ARE A LOT PEOPLE KNEELING THERE AND HERE SO ITS LOOK GROTESQUE. LETS RESTORE GRAPHICS QUALITY FROM VERSION 1.5 .GRAPHICS CARTS GOES STRONGER NOT SLOWER!!!!!!!!!

You clearly have not played The Witcher 3. have you ? If you had played it then you would know that after patch 1.04 draw distance was F*u*ked up. If you had played it you would know that the vegetation and foliage quality got lower so that PS4 players can play it.
Just a reminder THER IS NO "OPTIMIZE" BUTTON TO MAGICALLY OPTIMIZE THE GAME FOR YOU !!!!!!!!

I got something similar around v1.1, thought my GPU is busted but all fine in other games:
Reports of issues appearing after patch only for certain players makes me think they come not from patch changes but from the update process. Maybe some data gets corrupted or new version conflicts with older save and config versions? Anyone with uncommon problems after patching tried to do a clean install and new play-trough to confirm the issue persists? Does fresh install downloads latest version or you still have to go trough all patches from 1.0?

I got reduced twins, but increased quadruplets and increased likelihood of packs of samesies cars.

The cars thing is more amusing than annoying, because I've seen that multiple times in real life.
While it hasn't been as closely together, but an average drive through City Center can change from a dreary artificial sight where everybody is still poor enough to not get past a Hella.
Right up to where you become envious because everyone owns a Caliburn.
Most often though people seem to do fairly well for themselves and drive Shion M22's and Type 66's.

Two cars I do can agree with heavily to own :)

Just a short montage of glitches/bugs still happening on my game since 1.23 - Sad to see the slip on banana skin deaths return, and the games freezing for several seconds quite frequently, if not crashing. Along with many graphics problem etc etc.

and unsticking Evelyn Parker's handbag from her fingers.

So freaking strange...

Over 150 hours of play (Win 7 with GTX 970) and I never saw any visual glitches like that. The FIRST 3 hours I replayed the game on the SAME PC SAME GC but with the win 10 "upgrade" I started seeing those exact visual glitches (like the handbag glitch).

WTF??? o_O

The handbag bug appear in 1.2.
If you upgrade Win7 to Win10 and play it after 1.2, you will see it (and not before obviously) :)

Coincidentally windows updated around the time I started noticing the flickering *shrugs*

update: come to think of it, i installed the dlss 2.2 hack recently too.

Just a reminder to all:
It's not efficient nor effective to post laundry lists of non-related bugs in a single post.

If you want help from the community, feel free to post about it on the forums. Best bet is to create an individual thread for the specific issue you're seeing. (One issue per thread, and please read through existing topics to see if a discussion already exists. Multiple posts about the same issue will usually be either merged or closed.)

CDPR's Official Technical Support does not operate on the forums. Official Support is found here:

Read the appropriate FAQ section to the end, ensuring all suggestions have been followed. If the problems persist, you can use the "Contact Us" link to send in a ticket.

Be sure to identify your system (including specs if on PC), a brief description of the issue, and the steps taken to reproduce it (if applicable).

^This is the best way to ensure the developers know of a problem.

How helpful are the error reports, which you can send to them, after the game flat-lined ?

Those settings are pretty close to what I use with some minor exceptions. My average FPS is ~60 @ my resolution, with those settings at 1080p and a 2080 ti you should be well above that. I had a higher stable overclock that worked for other games but didn't for 2077 even without raytracing so I believe adjusting that will get you back in NC.

Ok, thanks a lot !

I will try to play around with my overclock's and have a look if it does make a difference.

The fps are heavily fluctuating, at least outside the city / in nomads land, even if I lower the graphic settings all the way down, which makes the game really look horrible, that's why I used the guide to find a compromise between performance and how the game looks.
