Alright to sum it up:

I was exploring outside Flotsam in chapter 1, and went over the bridge to the "bandit swamp". I fought some bandits outside the house (see video or screenshot below).

I went to the right of the house, and found a shrine. You know how you can sometimes "use" (left mouse button) them to get various power-ups? That's what I did. I wasn't expecting it to happen, but suddenly the achievement popped up.

Also note the ability you get (Summers Crown):

Search around the shrine to find a book on a corpse:

well, nice for you Steam users, too bad the swamp it's underused anyway, just 5 respawing bandits, 4 drowners and one elusive wraith... yeah I did some grinding runs here since i needed the money for the Dark set but it's a pretty nice & big area with no quest attached ( correct me if I'm wrong )

You're not wrong, the swamp is indeed a completely wasted area, maybe it's different in multiplayer but I never got around to it

This just reminds me how summer gets ignored by most game publishers, even though many people have extra time to play. Last summer was pretty impressive since there were a whopping two games that I bought, TW2 and Catherine. This summer, not so much.
