Crossbow would be nice addition if balanced and done right IMO but what I was really looking forward and what I hope to get implemented one day (perhaps in later patch or part of expansion) is silver chain from Wicther 1's intro:

But fans were never cying to have a crossbow but rather if the game should have one.
Well, I would say in that thread, most people didn't really really really want the crossbow.
Which, by the way, had a similar trail effect like the bolts fired from the crossbow in the gameplay demo, iirc.
Still would prefer a strong blur effect, than a white trail.
Great idea. A soft fading blur along the trail would look neat!
In that department, I wish they completely did away with purple sparks....
So, guys, do you expect more juicy info during the E3 or we are already done? Yesterday, it was a bit of a letdown for me, no because of the slightly lackluster gameplay, wich was overall great (with the not-that-great details discussed here) but mainly because of the scheduled 30 minutes magically downgraded (u see what I did here?) to barely 10 minutes. And moved without prior warning.
Maybe I was delusional expecting more info, or even the new CG trailer, I dont know.

Or no trail effect at all.
I'd rather have them spent time on some proper climbing/scaling animations instead to make it look like it actually takes some physical effort for Geralt to go uphill.
