If you are referring to swords as they are in the games, a lot of the steel ones are just European medieval hand-and-a-half / longswords. You could peruse the selection on kultofathena.com.
As for the iconic silver sword from the games with the angled quillions, it's basically just a two-handed scottish claymore without the designs on the end of the quillions and some spikes added and a wolfhead pommel.
I suppose if you know someone who is good at metalworking you could buy a longsword replica that can be dismantled (there are some that are held on by a small hex nut in the pommel) and have a custom guard and pommel made. Hell, there is even something like this:
