edit.
Mate, you're in the wrong thread. The one where the shitstorm is going on is the one below this one.
Is the storm here as well? No? Praise Melitele!
@EmperorZorn
How was Ciri introduced? Or was it more of a preview thing?
Its so packed with people here.
Any tips on tracking down our community bear ? Should I lay down a Schnitzel as bait ?

You mean "Praise all Gods, with NO exceptions"!
I just arrived home, you guys.
Watery eyes still??

Not anymore, but in that moment... well, I'll write all about it.
It was a flashback actually.
Ciri flashback (no Ciri voice acting though) :
After having helped the Ladies of the Woods, they came out of the tapestry and told Geralt that Ciri ran toward
their house to seek shelter, heavily wounded, bleeding and panting. That's the scene they show.
And while seeing Ciri ingame made me happy, seeing her rolling on the ground in pain made me sad at the same time. Hence watery eyes~
The Ladies of the Woods also said that Ciri got "naughty" with them (I think that means she tried to attack them)
and escaped.
They also warn Geralt that Ciri has changed a lot from the person Geralt knew, that she is dangerous now.
I couldn't tell if they were lieing or telling the truth.
Thank you Zorn for taking the time to write this down. I bet it was an intense scene.
Did you have fun overall? Did you meet Kinley?
In terms of combat, I was positively surprised.
Not only did the fighting seem very fast-paced, responsive and tactical - the animations also looked less choppy and very fluent.
Our beloved signs are back aswell.
Yrden created a circle which slowed enemy movement drastically, Quen gave Geralt a protective shield,
Aard was used to propell a sheep blocking the way into the back of the village and Igni set things ablaze as we are used to.
It was used to set the werewolfs fur on fire, the same werewolf which drove the test player crazy with its regeneration.
The fight lasted for about 5 minutes and when he was at about 1% health, he pummeled Geralt over and over leading
to a loss of control over the character while its adversary regenerated. I don't like loss of control, so that was a bit meh~
Another thing that bothered me about Igni was that you can set wood shields ablaze, but it doesn't do anything (yet).
The shield burns and the fire goes out after a while. In my opinion the enemy should throw the burning shield away,
so that Igni at least has some sort of use on this type of opponent.
Oh and yes... the wonderful slow-motion crossbow was back.
It only fires one arrow it seems, but it still leaves a trail.
would you say the constant chained attacks of the werewolf were related to a slight pause that happens everytime after geralt dodges or gets hit? because I suggested them in another thread they should really try to eliminate that or speed it up, or it would lead to problems.
