No more drivers for Geforce 7?

I had read in NVIDIA site and driver 174.74 is EXCLUSIVE to Geforce 8 under Windows XProducts supportedGeForce 9800 GX2GeForce 9800 GTXGeForce 9600 GTGeForce 8300GeForce 8200GeForce 8100/NVIDIA nForce 720aNVIDIA nForce 730a Release Notes (v174.74)New Control Panel User's Guide You have a driver not so old,that is 169.25,from December 20,but it is EXCLUSIVELY for Windows Vista.It appears that for Nvidia,YOU HAVE TO BUY A Geforce 9 or you will have NO SUPPORT AT ALL.This pratice of Nvidia is very nocive and can´t be tolerated.Actually,the driver for Vista is only one day younger than Win XP.So NO IMPROVEMENT IN PERFOMANCE available to Geforce 7 OR EVEN Geforce 8...What I am going to do when I reach Act III?Sit and cry?

It works,but IT IS NOT WHQL certified and does nothing to improve perfomance in older GPUs.The bugs it corrected are almost entirely of Geforce 9 and some of Geforces 8.In other words,IT´S NO USE updating driver 169.21 to 174.24.

You do realize the 174 driver is still beta? Wait until it's a stable release.

No,the Geforce driver 174.24 is NO LONGER beta.It´s WHQL certified.http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_174.74_whql.html

Ah, okay. I hadn't checked recently. So... why the rant that it's not WHQL certified?

It won't install on a Geforce 8600GT too.
