@Autumnal Wanderer; sweet mate, I'll give them a listen now, @taris; has already had me reminiscing with Metallica, been a while & it was great, and @DBag; here's a couple of guys Horslips *maybe* blazed a trail for (btw: when that documentary says they "reminded us of what was nearly lost" that'd be true in parts of the Republic, but the North never forgot

edit: @Autumnal Wanderer; Aye, good stuff... what gets me though is how I missed them... thats the kind of thing I'd definitely gone to see end of the 80's & early 90's... I guess they just didn't come up here... which is weird, because although a lot of tours avoided us then, Metallica, Megadeth*, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Motorhead, Sabbath, even Zeppelin played in '73 with a full on riot outside
*Dave Mustaigne is definitely crazy, or just a dumbass, between tracks he shouted out "give Ireland back to the Irish" - instant silence & parting of the crowd to the sides - I still don't know how everyone knew which side to go to - fortunately music was one of the things we could all agree on, so there wasn't a bloodbath, but there could've been. So yeah, nice sentiment... but bit of a twat tbh

Anyone like Demon Hunter? It's probably the only Christian metal band I'd listen to, mainly because it sounds nothing at all like Christian Rock, lol. Sixteen I assume is a reference to the sixteenth chapter of revelations, since it mentions some revelation related themes. Chapter 16 is filled with end of the world doomsday violent signs.
