I love to wear something light, that's why I'm not a big fan of winter. It's cold and depressing to see snow for half of year. I love spring more.
Not a big fan of winter too, maybe because I live in a place where there's usually a mild climate, and for us winter is usually very cold because of this, and also because of high levels of humidity. I noticed I endured winter better when I lived in north-center Italy, there cold is less humid and with lower temperatures.
I know I can't speak of real winter with you living in Russia, but...
