I'm using this SweetFX as a base but did some slight changes.

My preset is also available now in the link below.

Will add some comparison shots later.

Toggle ON/OFF option dont work ingame...

I believe if you use the Steam-overlay screenshot function it will take a picture of the game without SweetFX. Will try this myself in a bit.

still too dark, even during the day... especially when there are a lot of big shadows contrasted by some really sunny areas

The best IMO, are these:

Because it doesn't use SweetFX but ReShade. The best settings I found, by far. However it's tricky to setup at first because it seems like you have to use a preset as usual, while instead you have to use the files as given in the link by the description (you remove SweetFX and use the files given instead).

Differently from presets that just desaturate, the effect above change the colors giving a much clearer feeling to the scene, and more specifically the blue/white feeling of the VGX trailer.

I still havent find a nice sweet FX that does make the game more natural (blue/white-ish), but doenst make the nights and bad weather situations to dark. I can't see %@! when dark cloulds are hanging in the air.

Try the one I posted, as this problem doesn't happen there. SweetFX presets are usually dark because they have to desaturate to remove the orange light from the game.

Did you use that preset or you judged it only by that screenshot? Because, if you did, you would know that it's not so.

But you are right that it is not natural in the sense that the colors in that preset are changed in comparison to the vanilla ones since it is a preset done appositely to recreate the blue/white "feeling" present in the VGX trailer.

But still ALL (either yours) SweetFX presets have the drawback of altering the darkness of the environment. There are some people that like it, others that don't. I personally do but you cannot deny this fact. That preset instead doesn't darken the picture as a whole as it happens with SweetFX (actually makes it clearer). Try it and you will see what I mean.

It does not work for me. The game just crashes at start if I don't remove the dxgi.dll file. Any suggestions?
