Rotfiend explosion bug

Sometimes when rotfiend explodes some red buggy textures (not blood effect, that's for sure) cover my screen.

So I'm not the only one that sees these, hm. Yeah it's rare but worries me when it happens. It's usually a redflag for a video card that's having problems.

Do the artifacts look like that? I've never noticed it while fighting rotfiends, but it happens to me when gibbing groups of enemies with Grapeshot. I too was worried my video card might be starting to go.

Edit: starting to notice it sometimes with limb dismemberment now, too... hopefully it's software related, and not hardware. I never saw it happen outside of grapeshot before, but I wasn't looking for it like I am now.

I have this to with certain humans , but with rotfriends all the time very strange, my gpu stays pretty cool, glad i am not the only with this problem.

I've also noticed that when this problem gets really bad, ragdolls also tend to stop working properly during finisher animations. They'll just freeze in mid air after the animations play instead of dropping to the ground.

I get this too. I am on GTX 980 Sli and I thought it was one of my cards. Tested both of them independantly and it still happens. Its totally not your card for anyone who is worried about it. Definetley the game. Hope they fix it!

Something like that, but covers almost all of my screen for a moment. it's a rare bug anyway i don't see it often
