There are not really best swords(unless you looked it up through a console command). There is this stupid item scaling, so the higher the level, the better random items will be including swords. Moonblade can have 100 damage or 500 damage. PLEASE REMOVE THIS CRAP CDPR. Make the weapons feel somewhat unique. At least the top ones.
The absurdity of operation on the rewards engine is mind boggling.......lol, a simpler way to type this is the reward scaling blows monkey chunks. Getting rewards that are not commensurate with level or reward level is maddening. I have tossed so many really nice looking swords after fighting things 1 or 2 levels higher and finding they are up to 7 levels lower in a level appropriate area. But, that's what crafting is for....isn't it?
