To each their own. I for one will be enjoying another round of Wang.

I also will be enjoying more Wang. In fact, I'm re-installing the first game now! :)

Now, where did I put the Nobitsura Kage and those twin SMGs again....?

Looks like Sony is aiming to announce Playstation Move 2 at this years' E3. So I will ask the question on everybody's mind, "WHAT THE HELL IS SONY THINKING!?!?!?!"

I'm predicting their conference will focus on Project Morpheus and Playstation Move. If that's the case, Sony's love-affair with the core gamer will end in a big way.

Sony must be running out of ideas. The last one didn't do too well if I remember correctly, what makes them think it will work this time? Someone must have a few screws loose.

Why don't you guys give this bad boy a go? I also recommend subscribing to his channel if you want REAL old school FPS gameplay. The new Shadow Warrior is good and all but it doesn't quite compare. The shooters made in the 90s are all about pure gaming pleasure and is why people still play them. You will not see such masterfully balanced gameplay in new shooters.

[h=1]Guerrilla Games Keeps Hiring Witcher 3 Veterans for its Rumored PS4 Open World RPG[/h] Guerrilla games has been working on a PS4 game, rumored to be an open world RPG code named Horizons, and the studio seems to be indeed seeking experts in that field.

Back in February, it hired CD Projekt RED’s Lead Cinematic Artist Pawel Swierczynski and Quest Designer Dennis Zoetebier, and today we discover that they just hired Senior Technical Designer Shadi Dadenji this month.

Technical design is a key role in the development of open world games, that are made of many more moving parts than your usual linear game. Dadenji worked extensively on the systems that allowed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to work.

Designed and implemented various gameplay systems
Supported quest and open-world designers with scripts and tools
Took ownership of certain editor features and enhanced their usability
Provided debugging support for a wide range of AI and UI issues
Liaised between engineers and designers to ensure optimal communication

Interesting to note gaming companies which contribute to SPIR-V spec: Oxide Games, Blizzard, Epic Games and Valve. I didn't expect Blizzard to be involved. But I'm also surprised there are so few of them on board.

Looks like most aren't interested to be involved in shaping of the next generation APIs, or wait for others to do the drafting work. You'd expect all the major companies to be all over it.

@Gilrond-i-Virdan Blizzard still wants Starcraft 2 to take off as a modding platform. Thus far it hasn't, at least not like Valve's games have.

Getting involved in shaping the future APIs and compilers can be called R&D, and it means Blizzard are interested in that kind of stuff. I doubt it directly helps any modding prospects. It's basically for the good of the industry (which helps those participants too). Valve are serious about it indeed. They even poured resources into debuggers development:

Man what the f*** are you talking about? You can recommend some old Doom games to us? Cause you just discovered them last week and you think they're so REAL and cool? People played Doom and were having some fun in massive lan tournaments 20+ years ago (if I had to make a guess, I'd say you were not even born back then). Should we play some Quake too? Cause you know, people here never heard of Quake until now. Duke Nukem maybe? Oh, and here's a big one, did you know this Wolfenstein Bethesda made last year was ACTUALLY not the original Wolfenstein? I know, right? Total mindfuck.

I believe most of us who have been posting about Shadow Warrior actually played the classic shooters when they were new :p

WTF is wrong with you mate? No need to be so agressive. I've been Dooming since I was 8 years old and I am 23 now and I download the latest mods and make maps for it so no, I did not discover it last week. It's a pretty old game and not everyone has played it (Especially Doom 64) and I thought I should share it with others because I think few games are as balanced as the original Dooms. Everything about its gameplay is just perfect and I can't say the same for games like Painkiller which totally misrepresent what make old school shooters fun.

:D :D :D

I love that man to bits.

Ubisoft conf was beyond terrible.

"A new IP" yeah, a Chivalry ripoff.
Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six and The Division are basically the same game.

Yeah, I'm watching the UnitLost stream and they tore the thing to pieces when they saw it. It does look shit though.

@Alan989 @Cheylus I suggest giving it another look. There is a lot more depth to it than being a "Chivalry rip off." I'm not hyped for it, but it does have me intrigued.

Here is a new gameplay trailer from their website. NOT THE ONE SHOWN DURING E3 PRESS CONFERENCE.
