New Game+ is coming it seems

+
My only issue with new game plus is for the expansions. Regular game you chose one path, ng+ you chose another path so you can see different outcomes. Which save file do you use for expansions?

You use your best playthrough... it should be uour most recent, unless you go into it wanting to screw up. I'd suggest playing through the month before that comes out, doing it all the way you want. I know I will.

I imagine the expansions will just flow after or during the main quest...so it might be more organic than that.

Am I the only one holding off on getting started on that second playthrough in the chance that NG+ might be added?

I'm the same, but for me it's holding off on a third play through. I've loved it so much I've already done two full play throughs. :p

Yea, I love the story so I beat it down three times with all side quest finshed (finally Death March down) n to level 70 this time, however I am not going to start my forth journey now, cuz if there still no new game+, I need to play through again from very beginning... That's would totally awful for my feeling n efforts, PS4 version here

Agree, but can't freakin wait to play another 300 hrs!

I'll wait on NG+ to go again, but I need to at least see the new patch for a few sunsets if you get my meaning!

Better that will make a hardcore mode, not NG+, I think it is not interesting to begin the game already with all the open skills and equipment.

Just give me interesting endgame content, i think that CDPR need to create the enemies for the expansion and new DLCs as leveled one with a minimum level of 31 and interesting skills, in order to give end game players challenging content.
The story end when a new conjuration of spheres start, so much to build on...

My take is this... NG+ doesn't stop you from just playing your game as it is... it's just an option for those of us with sad endings who wish to mend things with Yen or Triss. I hope they also add the NPCs back into the post game world for personal reference points... as stated all over the internet on various forums, the path is quite lonely without anyone to share it with.

Keep up the great work CDPR!

Well the ng+ is a lot of work ...but it sounds sweet for many from this forum. Also an arena like in witcher 2 sounds great. In fact with this two implemented the game eill be epic ...who will want to play something else ...?The replaybility will be epic ...And furthermore if CDPR will give a damn about those who wants this ...in the end CDPR will take the glory .
PPL must state loud and clear what they wish from the game ....Or make a petition or pole thread for ng+ and Arena because if you want.. state now ...later will be to late. The CDPR team has already a lot of work so they have to see in meantime the entuziasm of ng plus and arena .

I know that NG+ is a controversial topic and that not everyone wants to see resources allocated to it, but it is the one feature that I'd most like to see implemented in the future. In order to demonstrate to any representatives from CDPR that might be browsing these forums just how much interest in and support for NG+ there is on other websites, I thought I'd take the liberty of posting a few links:

It's clear that many players are eager to begin another playthrough, but are very reluctant to lose all of the gear and skills they worked so hard to earn. I encourage anyone else who would like to see a NG+ and who has seen support for NG+ on other websites to provide links to those discussions here on the official forums. TW3 is a masterpiece and we're all grateful for the hours of fun it has provided us so far--let's show the dev team just how much more fun we could have with NG+!

A New Game + is not something you can develop in one or two weeks. Expecially when you haven't a level scaling system for mobs.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but I don't care whether or not enemies scale to my level in NG+. I just want to be able to re-experience the story without having to re-acquire all of my gear, diagrams, formulae, and skills. If I end up being grossly overpowered for the entirety of NG+ because mobs don't scale, I'll be perfectly happy.

Also, I'm wondering what, if anything, the length of time that it takes to implement a NG+ feature has to do with my post (which you quoted). At what point did I suggest, either explicitly or implicitly, that NG+ could or should be developed in one or two weeks? That seems like a strangely arbitrary figure. In fact, I don't recall having introduced the topic of development time at all.

Actually they do... try messing with guards in town... go to Temple Isle, the guards are always around 15+/- levels higher no matter when you fight them... yeah, it's there.

What I seen yesterday dated from 08.06 :
http://www.irishexaminer.com/techno...nt-could-get-a-new-game-plus-mode-341414.html
Maybe it is slight hope for this maybe with the expansions .

I see it as a way to create a never ending game for players... imagine the word of mouth praise and "extra game review bumps" this game would get from sites like IGN if it had a new mode like this added.... essentially people will be playing witcher for the next 10 years like Diablo 2... that is a STRONG advantage from a game sales and DLC sales standpoint.
