This is very true. In IT (and I suppose in other sectors too) it takes much efforts to train young employee. For few months someone experienced has to watch over them, answer questions, help resolve problems etc, it can take many hours of IT specialist time to train such guy. And after lets say year he gots better offer from some corporation and leaves the job, so for company this can be loss of invested money. In employment for example many companies either don't have the time or money or a willing to spend it to train a young employee with less experience. That sucks, but we should rather ask, why in the current system is it not worth anymore to train your own workforce and what can we change such that there is seen new worth in it. Back when you used to work pretty much your whole life in one company, it must have been much easier to reason, why the company should spend time and effort on you.
I think the biggest problem for me is, that I am able to say the most ridiculous thing with a straight face and expect the other one to realize it was a joke. Many, especially from elsewhere, just look confused and are trying to figure out, what I mean by that.
People here understand each other!
I dunno, I still find hard to understand @Blothulfur sometimes. LOL
This is why I keep coming back to the forum, when I have the time. People here understand each other!
@Tjerra BTW, which city do you start studying in, if you want to share that?
@Tjerra Either way. That keeps me safe.

@RivenII : That's painful. You might try to recover something from it at least. It can work at times.
