Can't Progress on Family Matters Quest

Hey all, I am stuck in a glitch where you can not examine any of the items in the room with the painting and candlesticks. They glow orange and red but when I examine them, my player just looks and doesnt say anything. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem? And yes I've done every other quests related to this one.

I have the exact same prob. I installed the 1.7 patch before trying the room, only cause I can think of.

it's not correct, this quest work fine for me on 1.07

I have the same problem Geralt just look the wall without the painting and say no word ( sorry for my englsih :s )

Please help i don't want to start over the game :s
