Yeah something changed in cdpr between witcher 2 and witcher 3. Obviously i'm still not over this. If cdpr had been a cheesy crap standard developer then perhaps i wouldn't care. But i can't help it that i played w1 and w2. It would have been better if they released w3 under the 'gog' or 'cdpcommercial' company name and just leave something good as good. To get another full priced purchase from me they should probably do that anyway.

CDPR wanted to make Geralt more human in Witcher 3, as odd as it might seem.. No more ploughing after friendly chit chat a la Witcher 1

Although humour is always good and often appropriate, you need to learn to temper it with some respect.
Because someone wishes more variety in their sex scenes does not mean they are not "getting any" at home. Or wherever. If you put eight millionths of a second into thinking before you post, you would realise that if that -were- the case for humans, porn as we know it would cease to exist.

Seriously though, if they were catering to the climate of political correctness that infects the US market, they would've included more non-white characters to appease the diversity pundits and made all the women look more butch and freakish instead of beautiful in order to satisfy the feminists. Well, reading the thread was quite fun. As someone who has played the previous games, they toned down little by little. Also, to put in the fact that Geralt is on a race with the wild hunt, they can't give more scenes with him and the girls. What missed the story line is they should have at least done it when they went back to Novigrad. If you choose to do the threesome, they would give a new quest when you're back to Novigrad. Sadly, when you choose one, you get nothing. During that time, they were looking for the members of the Lodge, so they could slack off a bit and have little fun since they've got Ciri. The scenes came so early in the game, they should have balanced it. Two scenes for each main heroine. I'm a fan of hentai games, and that's what made me love the series. Especially the Elven bath scene in W2. Good thing the mod replied, true, you shouldn't make fun of someone's sex life just because they play too much sexual games and watch too much porn. I won't say it in details, but I can always have my fun times with my girl.

P.S. I hope they make a patch to have scene in Novigrad when you're looking for the Lodge. Though the pace in the game made it lack for the sexual content.

I don't think anyone wanted a porno when buying witcher 3. Its only the simple and sad fact that witcher 2 wiped the floor with it.
For humans where the attitude of going backwards is generally prevented (even more so if its done for the wrong reasons) there's nothing ever going to be positive about a worse effort in a sequel. We dont buy games to support developers getting worse. Doesn't that explain the high budget mainstream games? People buy those anyway and look at where that got you.
Sex scenes in Witcher 2 was much better, But yeah they probably toned it down for the american market which is a real shame. Don't sensor yourself CD project RED
TW2 got it right because it was always bawdy, never serious. They just didn't put any effort in this for TW3, and then they boasted about so many hours of mo-cap. Its just weird.

It was a British journo who whined about titties in the Lavellete dungeon and CDPR almost caved in then. So don't just blame us Muricans for all the bras in TW3.

Dragonbird is right. It's not about the culture or country market like everyone else says. It's about the pace of the story. If your daughter is missing, I would never have time for such sexual acts, but the thing is, they already had Ciri back to Novigrad. It takes three to tango quest can be picked off during that time when you tried to flesh out both heroine, why didn't they gave us a new scene there right? So yeah, I'm not bashing, I'm just pointing out the missed potential. Maybe they toned down unwillingly because of the development of the game industry where the "open-world" stuff gets more attention than the romance scenes. Also, no game is perfect, that's why we have the DLCs and patches, I hope they put it in a patch. Additional scenes in Novigrad with your preferred heroine would be better and a striga contract in addition would be awesome!
