New Game+ is coming it seems

Will gear be upgradable beyond mastercrafted level? or will there be new sets which are for lvl 30+ ?

I was wondering that too. Mastercrafted armor is level 34, but when you reach an higher level it will become useless.
I think the schematics will be updated or something.

I fully agree with Senseioyama.

And I actually thought that the whole point of implementing NG+ in Witcher 3 was to enable the players to experience/collect the things they missed during their first playthrough.

There is absolutely no joy in collecting your hard earned Gwent Cards all over again.

At least should be a diagram somewhere to be able to create it again. There are worse armour diagrams available but I find odd there is not one for this piece of armour.

It's quite possibly the most unique armor set in the game. Even the gloves look unlike anything in the game. Once you get rid of it, there's no getting it again. Which really seems like an odd decision all things considered.

To me, it seems like they have plans for this armor-set; they are VERY HUSH, HUSH on these request.

They know damn well this armor is sexy -- Everything in marketing W3 has Geralt with that suit of Armor -- They knew that was the most stylish piece of gear.

Very happy for NG+ but slightly baffled at the decision to omit Gwent cards carry-over. Seems like the natural, logical choice to allow players to keep the items they've accumulated in their first playthrough, except of course for quest items or keys.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS THANK YOU CDPR!!!!!! Every game should have this option period. Reasons not to have this feature in progression games are just foolishness

The word you're looking for is Continuity.

We're going to have it for recipes, items, gold etc. and all of a sudden BAM not for GWENT??!

I agree with not carrying the gwent deck. I just started to play gwent when I was at level 18...so Ive missed the dandelion card for example.
It will be funny to collect all over again and to be able in collect all the gwent cards from the beggining.

This is so awesome!

I hope places of power are being "reset" so that you can draw power from them once more.

Also I hope the fast travel locations are brought over.

Really looking forward to New Game+. I have a question:

How will the starting game options be handled, namely, simulating or importing a Witcher 2 save? Can I choose to import a different Witcher 2 save for New Game+? Can I choose to simulate a Witcher 2 save and then choose different options? For example, some characters from Witcher 2 were not alive on my playthrough, and I hope I can choose differently in New Game+.

Seems like itll just be a new game, but it will copy your gear over, put you at level 30, and buff the enemies.

I'd expect it will ask you about the save import/emulate just as normal.
