The Witcher 3 (inevitable) Limited Edition ideas

Call me a perv but I think that it would be nice if one of its contents was a magazine with nude photos of the female characters, kinda like Playboy (except that it should be called Plowboy for this one). Anyway, if nudity is not possible then I can settle for them wearing a bikini. Oh and I think that Philippa (can't argue about her) should be the covergirl. If this is still not possible then I can settle with a Philippa action figure.

I think this would be a good idea because no doubt, a Limited Edition like this would be in high demand.

If you have any other ideas, please post them in this topic.

Just have to say, amazing username and avatar. Also that wouldn't be bad at all, but i am hoping they include the Witcher's Medallion Bonus again (Since I missed getting the dark edition). Besides that... I got nothing!

Please, no more playboy shoots.

CDPR makes some of the deepest, most complex, and most independent females in the gaming industry. Characters like Triss, Saskia, Sile, and Philippa are perfect examples of female characters done right within a fantasy setting. They know how to take care of themselves, and they all have their own agenda. In many ways, they outclass the male characters in TW2.

We dont need these characters stripped down and put on display to please the young male crowd. It just takes away from their character, which is a god damn shame given how well written they are. In addition, it conveys false expectations - nudity only accounts for 0.01% of the game, dont make it the focus!

If they were to include some sort of book/magazine, I would rather have an encyclopedia of the characters, detailing their history (for those who have not read the books), their motivations, and their interactions with other characters. For example, I would love to know how Iorveth meet Saskia to begin with, and how she felt comfortable enough revealing her secret to an elven terrorist.

Thank you, my dream is to become Vernon Roche.

...but I want the medallion to have a carving of a naked Philippa Eilhart. Or not as long as she's in it will do.

Ok, an encyclopedia would be good. Alright, you do not want Plowboy photoshoots so I will conclude that a Philippa Eilhart action figure does not bother you?

Oh and nudity isn't 0.01 % of the game; it's 0.03.

Y'all postin' in a troll thread.

And on the off chance that you're not trolling, dude, there's hundreds, if not thousands, of people on deviantART that would be happy to draw all kinds of creepy shit for you, and since you're apparently willing to spend money on this, you can even afford one of the ones who are good at it. Good luck and happy fappin'.

I ain't trollin' bro. Even Crygie's with me.

Oh and FYI, I do not want a Philippa devianart photo man, they need to invent like some kind of virtual reality program so that I can...never mind, you won't understand *cries*

I am sick and tired of the nudity campaign. The witcher games are so much more than that, and I feel embarrassed that a lot of people not familiar with the actual books or games probably believe we're all horny teenagers looking at animated nude pinups. We already have gratuitous amounts of skin and breasts in both games, without it being mandatory or a main component. CDP needs to focus on the *other* aspects that make this a mature game.

That said, no. A fake playboy with women from the witcher is a terrible idea.

Please, no action figures. They come in every fucking Collector's Edition and they are the most uncreative thing to include in CE.

And yeah, this forum is kinda "unnecessary nudity sensitive" so I wouldn't go this way, unless you wanna get negged to the ground.

It seems like Collector's Editions just keep getting worse. What do collectors really want?

In the case of TW2, I especially loved the artbook. That was the one reason that made me pay $130 for it. I liked the dice, but one set is not enough to play dice poker. The sculpture, well... I would rather have something else, like a medallion. It also doesn't have to come loaded with useless crap just to fill in empty space; nothing wrong with an $80 C.E., with artwork, a map, and the damn medallion everybody wants :p

I want atleast a 10" sexy Triss statue :)
And maybe Geralts silver sword?

Would be nice if they also include a wig of Geralts hairstyle so we can all be Geralt and roleplay, bhahaha jk.

I've read the book Blood of Elves. It was awesome and it was what led me to hate Nilfgaard in the first place. Anyway, I don't like people misinterpreting that I like the nudity for the sake of it. it's part of the narrative from what I understand and besides, you can't say no to a naked Triss (unless you're gay).

It's good that CDP focuses on 'other' aspects but dangit, I don't want them removing sex altogether. That would be...unrealistic.

A Geralt wig would be good but I'd prefer Roche's hat.

I agree. CEs do suck these days. Anyway, I think most of us wants an exclusive DLC mission.

Makes perfect sense. If you're not constantly bombarding yourself with naked images of the opposite sex, you're clearly gay. Never mind that it paints the game in such a way that others judge and avoid it, expecting rampant nudity for the sake of being horny teenager bait rather than anything realistic and thus doing the game, developer, and overall series a major disservice. Nope. I'd prefer for them to focus on and promote the story rather than the nudity, so I clearly like penis.

It's not that complicated; promoting the nudity leads to the perception that the game is about nudity, and promoting the story leads to the perception that the game is about story. You don't have to remove either, but focusing promotional stuff on the nudity will forever be a bad move for a story-based game to make.

While you're at it, why not remove the irrelevant role playing, fighting, politics and decision making & turn The Witcher 3 into a 20 hour interactive pornographic movie?

A Limited Edition like that would be in high demand!

*facepalm* serious forum posters. C'mon guys, let's leave that to real life; the internet is for fun.

Yeah, all of us who would rather be with a real naked woman and play story-driven games as opposed to staring at naked fantasy characters must be gay ;)

Ehhh, Not Really, the game is complete as it is.

Interesting, well i guess it makes sense, since most "RPGs" nowadays are getting dumbed down anyway. Hopefully for the collectors edition comes with a box of tissues and a bottle of lotion.
