Help! script compilation error

Just installed the Witcher 2 enhance edition through Steam on my computer. But when I try to launch the game, I got a pop up saying :

There were errors compiling scripts. Unable to run game. Maybe some selected user packages are incompatible? game\quest\quest_funtions.ws|2282]:parse error, near"{"
game\scenes\scene_functions.ws|1794]:parse error, near"{"

What is happening? I have not install any mod or additional things, just the game itself. Please help!!

The same problem ,can't play the game since the last update.
Bought the game from steam.

There`s nothing like that on my Steam version . So i`m inclined to think it`s with the installation of the game or with the installed language . Is the game installed in English ? This particular error did not appear until the addition of REDkit and since REDkit is not available for all languages that would be my first choice .

I believe the error involves source code comments that have some of the Polish special characters in them.

It's come up before, and there was a fix for it.

Before trying the fix, try installing Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1. There was an issue involving national language characters that was fixed in that service pack.

The fix is compatible with Patch 3.4 installations, but obviously not with any mod that changes the base_scripts.dzip file.

Fix for special characters in source code comments:

VC++ 2010 SP1 redistributables:

32-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8328
64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632

Install both 32-bit and 64-bit if you have a 64-bit system.

Game is installed in English.
What can I do to rectify this problem?
Hate spending money and then can't play.

I tried reinstalling VC++ 2010 SP1, but it says my version is newer so installation was auto abort.
Then I thought of something, I installed the new Office 2013, and the Visual Studio is running new VC++, I think.
Perhaps that is the reason causing the parse errors??
