What do you think of this combat criticism?

I quite like the combat so far, not really sure what everyone's beef is? Perhaps its a controller issue? (I use m+kb). Or difficulty level possibly? I would say more aggressive AI would be welcome but have no issue with locks or too much/little stamina. Pretty sure rolls take away stamina as...

Jenny o the woods - SPOILERS!

Yeah this was a tough fight. (think I'm thinking of the right one here) Use Yrden, hit a few times, roll away. Roll back in and hit 2-3 more, then away again. You can do this a few times per sign. When she splits follow one of the mists and kill it instantly when she pops up, then chase the...

    bandit sprinting attack abuse

Yup, you have to approach different types of enemy in different ways. One of the reasons this game is better than Skyrim. You have to switch between different signs and fighting styles. For humans I tend to lead them a bit away from the archers (use trees as cover too), cast the trap, close...

Loot - too much, too little?

I like the way loot is abundant in the game. Otherwise the situation would be that when something is loot-able then it's an auto pickup as you'd be almost guaranteed quality. Dont see that as realistic at all. I suppose it comes down to different play styles as I don't pick up all weapons...

Who will Release a HD Texture Pack First, CD Projekt or Modders?

Erm, you removed the remainder of my post in your quote which stated exactly the same thing ie the need to be patient as bug fixes are needed but it would happen. Not sure why? Did it not suit your post?

Who will Release a HD Texture Pack First, CD Projekt or Modders?

Some want them, some aren't fussed. Why the people who aren't fussed don't want others to have them I don't know? Anyway, I'm certain CDPR will release them as they are one of the best developers for community interaction out there. A bit of patience is required though, as bug fixes are...

Witcher 3 Graphics... are good once you fix them.

The difficulty with a lot of these are that it leaves the night and shadows in the day far too dark. I'm all for enhancing/tweaking the graphics but it's pointless if everything in shade is impossible to see

If you don't like the combat, you're doing it wrong

Dodge, dive, dip, duck and dodge. If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ghoul. Got to echo those who like this combat system, takes a bit of getting used to but after remapping the dodge key to one of the additional buttons on the mouse I've begun to get the hang of it. Signs and swords...
