Same issue on PS4, patch 1.04 didn't solve it...

I saved Hjarlmar before I saved the archer, so I came back to him later and saved him from the ice trolls. The quest got kind of bugged since it told me to 'cross the lake' and nothing happened at the destination, so I went straight to the giant. The archer was there, and it starts firing arrows...

Sadly, it did not work for me. Still endless loading screen...

I think I can confirm that patch 1.04 for PS4 doesn't fix this, as stated on the changelog. I dont' get killed this time, but the loading screen doesn't disappear, either.

It's happening here, too. I thought I broke it by not following the natural order of the quest (giant feeding sirens -> rescuing archer -> helping haljam -> going to giant), but it doesn't seem to be the case. I hope this gets fixed soon...
