Thank you! I suspected that might be the issue. Have avoided doing so as I'm not leveled up far enough as is recommended. Guess I shall have to be patient. (not my strong suit). :hmm:

Following the thread: Go to Faroe and look for Hammond...um...how? As someone new to the Witcher games, I'm pleasantly surprised at how quickly I got hooked. Even despite my frustration at a few issues I have with the controls, I am truly enjoying Witcher 3. BUT...in doing the side quest...

I so agree with you, in fact it's why I'm even here. Though far from an 'expert' gamer I do expect some consistency with controls, and I am NOT seeing that. I get slaughtered over and over again simply because my character does not respond. Makes me wary of leaving the story line and exploring...
