I still ended up with Yen after getting the lighthouse scene with "Let's try again." I wonder if that was the bug, and sleeping with Triss was supposed to set up the love triangle no matter what Geralt said to Triss.

In my first playthrough, I told Triss, let's try again, had the lighthouse scene, and I ended up with Yennefer. I take it this was not intended and has been fixed? Now, while meeting all the same conditions, I have to say "l love you" or Triss stays on the boat.

Yes, that boat is stupid. You can get out if you move to the other side of the stairs and jump toward the opening. It will take a few tries, but you can do it.

Dropping shadow quality is probably not gaining you much FPS. The big resource hogs are Hairworks, Foliage Visibility distance, and AO, in that order.

Novigrad: Closed City is a multipart quest. When you complete a part, it goes into "completed" quests, then when you get the next part it becomes active again. It may be that you did not complete all of the parts (and you would have no way of knowing if you did) and then the rest of the parts...
